An easy hike for young and old, though they also offer $10 cart rides down and up from the falls. The valley also serves as a botanical garden as well as a sacred cultural site where you can learn about the significance of the area to the locals from the locals. A beautiful opportunity to learn! There are restaurants and bars on site and they appear to host weddings as well. The gift shop is decently priced. Restrooms are gendered stalls. There are several water bottle fill up stations along the trails, as well as several benches to be able to sit and rest along the way. Morning looks to be best. The younger crowd seems to show up to swim later in the afternoon and things get rowdy. Also, do not swim if you have cuts anywhere on you as there are warnings of a waterborne illness that you can contact from the brackish water beneath the falls.
All paived trails and beautiful scenery. Nice little walk to the falls. At the falls you can swim, weather permitting. Tons of opportunity for beautiful pictures of the valley. You get all weather while you're there, rain, mist, sun, and wind
One of the best things to do on island! Pleasant walk to the Falls and Pool - so refreshing to swim in! gorgeous scenery. Learn about Hawaiian games and history along the way. Truly a unique experience!
This is a beautiful valley in which a fascinating botanical garden has been created. There are lots of fun little paths to wander off on to. The waterfall is less than a mile to walk, but how much time it takes is determined by how many flowers you smell and paths you explore. At the falls there is beautiful pool allowing one to swim under falls
Absolutely beautiful place to visit! Lots to see and do here! Be prepared to pay $25.00 per person if you want to see the falls. They do have a snack and cocktail bar available before you go in to the park. If you’re hungry or thirsty I’d recommend a stop at both before. Our bartender was very nice and attentive. You could tell he really liked working there. Lots people ordering from the snack bar and sitting at the outside tables. Know that since this is such a popular place parking can be a bit challenging. Patience is key when looking for a spot to park. Just know the once your parked you’re going to experience a whole lot of beauty!
Lovely! We knew that this was the hike for us when it said that it was wheel-chair friendly. Very beautiful valley, but the highlight was the lady working at the model village. She was so knowledgeable and eager to answer all of our questions.
Visiting here was one of the highlights of our trip. When parking, make sure to drive by the first paid parking lot you see. This is parking for the beach. There is free parking for the valley past this. For the valley itself, the path to the waterfall is paved and easy to walk on. I definitely recommend walking instead of taking the shuttle. At the end of the path is a small cafe, and also a free water refill station. There is a change area right before the falls. Most people will simply make the trek in their bathing suit. Swimming in the falls was an awesome experience and a great way to cool off. Life jackets are mandatory and are provided free of charge. Definitely try to make a trip out here during your stay on Oahu!
We recently photographed a few weddings here, and cannot say enough wonderful things about the location, staff, and amenities that this place offers. A photographers dream, no doubt, but the way the venue worked with the couples and the planners to make everything JUST right was really really special to see! Keep up the great work, and hope to see ya'll again soon.
I found Snorkel and Dive Hawaii when I was looking to do a refresher course. I hadnât been scuba diving in about 30 years and needed to get comfortable with it again before an upcoming trip. Emilie was incredibly responsive in setting everything up

Gorgeous beach with plenty of space to tan and chill without getting snuck up on my waves or being close to other people. Definitely not a good swim spot. Waves are rough in the winter and the break is right on the shore so beware. Lifeguards patrol
A very beautiful beach with a lot of rocks along the shoreline. Went on a day where it was cloudy, windy, and the waves were a bit too strong so we did not get a good snorkelling experience. I recommend observing the wave strength before trying to go
This place has amazing vegan burgers that are tasty and unique. Both the beet burger and the soy bbq burger were delicious. The food is filling and wholesome, not heavy or greasy. There is parking in the lot next to the cafe, and they have a restroom
Great beach park to have a nice picnic at! Here is also where the Haleiwa Metric Century ride started. You can ride your bike around this area for a stunning view.
Best place to view turtles! A little rough for snorkeling... Very busy! Come early! Huge backup to drive last couple miles here which takes around 10+ min for last mile as everyone is slowing down to look for parking and turtles it seemed! Parking is
Nice beach park with parking, restroom, shower, picnic area. There are other beach parks next to each others as well. Wide sand beach area with limited shade near water edge. Some bring beach chairs, umbrella, or tents. It is also perfect place for s
The park is nice. The shower and changing room is acceptable and welcomed. We swam with 3 turtles, which was fascinating. Just beware of the typical rocky floor in the ocean.
Been taking people here for years. Nice short easy walk and everyone Loves a waterfall!!! The flowers are always Beautiful even in the off season when there isn't as much in bloom. Lots of hibiscus and Love that they have plants from all over the w
