What a hidden gem!! The serving sizes are great and the flavors and toppings are amazing. We definitely recommend getting the souvenir bowl and we’re not normally into doing things like that- it holds more shave ice, and it’s a pretty cool bowl and spoon set to take and reuse at home. The owner was so cool, friendly, and swift at making our bowl. Loved it!

This place is tucked away, but you must find it! The ice is shaved so finely and is so smooth. The natural flavors are wonderful, and so much better than the fake stuff everywhere else. I loved the guava. There was also fresh fruit on top. The staff were so friendly and explained everything. It was such a refreshing and delicious stop on our trip.

Best shave ice I’ve had on the island! It’s so nice all the syrups are made from natural ingredients, it gives a completely different taste than average shave ice places. The toppings add a lot of flavour. 10/10 would recommend! Also the staff working there were super friendly!

A little hidden, but there's a big banner over the entry way. Right across the street from the public parking place. This place is delicious and fresh! Pick two flavors, everything is all natural, and is topped with fresh fruit, coconut cream and honey. This is not your average shave ice. The owner Thomas is super cool, very friendly. The ambience of the place is super rad. He Has locations on Maui and in Kauai. Have some cool merch to buy and he just opened an açaí bowl place right next door. Check It out! You will not be disappointed!

I had Coconut and Pineapple toppings with the Macadamia Nut ice cream under the shaved ice. Also, I tried a Shaved Ice with Lychee with Strawberries on top. Also, Macadamia Nut ice cream underneath. All the flavors and toppings are made from real fruit. This is the place to go for Shaved Ice.

This place serves the best naturally flavored shaved ices that we have ever tasted and made with such care! It is hidden from the Main Street, so we were so lucky to find it and it is so worth finding!! I had the calamansi and lychee which was so refreshing and delicious with a lemony taste and sweetness of the lychee, also it has coconut cream drizzled and fresh fruit pieces on top. Soooo amazing!! It revived me from the windy drive back from Hana. The delicious flavor goes all the way to the center until the last bite. My sons had the coconut and pineapple and the other raspberry and blueberry, all so naturally fruity and amazing. It has set a new bar for our shaved ice now. No artificial colors or flavors!

There are other shave ice places in town but this is the ONE to try. It doesn’t have the infinite options of Ululani’s but you don’t need them. The syrups are all natural made in-house by Thomas. They have just enough sweetness to bring out the flavor of the fruit. Rather than an overly sweet “snow cap” of condensed milk, he tops the ice with fresh chopped fruit, coconut cream and local honey. Don’t forget to add a scoop of ice cream. Another bonus, it is set back from the busy Paia thoroughfare (with a small amount of parking!). You can enjoy Waikomo’s delicious treats in a bit of peace and quiet amongst the trees and flowers.

Great place to get a nice refreshment and snack within walking distance of Baldwin Beach! I tried their Mango and Strawberry Shave ice and it was very delicious! The owner is super chill and down to earth dude 🤙
