I blame Hotwire for selling this hotel as something as 3 star plus. The location is fantastic however, the hotel is run down, the room was filthy, the bathroom was awful with a trail of insects running along the top of the tiniest of showers. Again, the bathroom was also dirty and hadn't seen a clean in months. This hotel/motel is something from the early seventies.
The staff are very nice and accommodating! My kids enjoyed the pool and they provided us pool towels! The rooms were clean! The location is close to the beach and to shops and restaurants! The price is also very affordable considering you are in Waikiki! The front desk staff Janice and Jason were awesome! I highly recommend this place!
One of the oldest establishments in Waikiki with very basic rooms and tiny showers. We stay here frequently due to price & location.
Would not recommend for handicap as their is a high step up needed to enter very tiny no rail showers. However, downstairs units are wheelchair accessible.
It's great to sleep then adventure.
The pool is nice. Great complimentary coffee in the morning.
Small but adequate kitchen area, full-size fridge, and small 4 burner stove, which I used for almost every meal. Pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware provided. I did bring my own large pot, pan, and paper plates since I was cooking for 8+, but it is not necessary if you don't mind continuously washing dishes. Must bring your own dish soap and sponge.
Right in the heart of Waikiki. Shopping and dining all around. Beach is a 5-minute stroll away.
ABC Store on Lewers St. serves prime rib, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center food court has a Raising Canes. Shaved ice place right across the street. Lots of really good Ramen shops on Kalakaua St. Denys around the corner.
Limited parking on street. $6 per 2 hours and free from 10 pm to 6 am. If you dont want to worry about parking tickets, $50 for 24-hour come & go parking at the post office just across from back gate of hotel. Very convenient.
Location and price were awesome! I stayed here on my recent visit to Waikiki. Room was big and clean! Not a luxury hotel but it met all my needs. One piece of advice, if you want to sleep later then 6am ask for a room away from the street. The deliver trucks and the local rooster will wake you up!
A classic 50’s hotel! Just two stories so no need for elevators and a pleasant, helpful staff. Bordering on a one way street on the main entrance and across from a park that leads to the ocean on the other side. Nice rent for down to earth folks! Once you realise that you can walk to the beach in about 3 minutes and the ABC store in less than one, the location is as perfect as can be. The restaurant on premises has the best asian style steak and cheese and the restaurant across the street has breakfast and lunch. Win,win. We sprang for a room with a kitchenette and it made all the difference! Stove, sink, toaster, microwave. Dishes, pans and silverware all in the cupboards. Just needed food and we saved a bundle on not having to eat out for every meal. Made the meals we did go out for all the better. (but that may have just been my cooking skills!) If you’re fussy don’t bother staying here, how ever if you have a budget and can handle real life check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
Booked with them through Hotwire.com. Waikiki Heritage Hotel required a form sent to them by Fax. For this reason I requested Waikiki Heritage Hotel cancel my reservation by messaging them in the Hotels.com chat app. They did not cancel the reservation. They said "We can not cancel your reservation at the hotel you must contact your -----------pany to cancel." I dont know what "-----------pany" is supposed to mean so I was not able to follow the instruction. ||I was charged $251.85. ||My first experiences with both Hotwire.com and Waikiki Heritage Hotel. Expensive lesson learned. What was the lesson learned? If you dont have a fax machine and/or dont know what "-----------pany" means, dont use Waikiki Heritage Hotel or Hotwire.com.
This place was better than expected! I stayed in room 119 and it was overall clean and definitely free from bedbugs. The one complaint I had was dealt with very quickly by staff, and they were all friendly and helpful. The best part about this place is the LOCATION! It’s amazing, walkable to almost everything in Waikiki. I’d return here or recommend it.
Stayed February 2024. |Pros: Cute, retro vibe. Very old school Hawaii. Tiki feel. Very close walk to Waikiki beach and all the restaurants. Lovely landscaping. Cheap price. Sheets and towels were good quality. Coffee in the lobby at 7am. |Cons: very run down and needs a maintenance update. I like the retro vibe, but seems the repairs are just bandaids. Carpets were filthy. Tile cracked, replaced with odd tiles and caulked to death. Beds were hard. Pillows really flat. Jet tub didn’t work. Toilet took 4 flushes just to get paper down it. Had a kitchenette, but no plates, utensils, cookware, no coffee pot. Just a microwave and apartment fridge. Parking is very limited, located at a different hotel that adjoins the property, expensive and super hard to get in/out of skinny space. |Don’t get me wrong, I’ve stayed in worse and I know that you get what you pay for, so I am not complaining. I enjoyed my stay regardless. I’m just being honest.
The hotel is very nice and modern. Everything is new and in good condition. The location is very central close to everything. I stayed in the ocean view room for 6 nights. The view is very pretty, and you can see Friday night fireworks from my bedroo
This hotel is a great place to stay while staying in Hawaii. I haven't had a bad experience while staying here.
The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you with any questions. The rooms are perfect size for a vacation and updated for t
Ono, soo ono. If you enjoy the taste and feel of each bite in your mouth, this is the place for local, healthy, ono eats. Fresh every single time. This is the first time in my life that I have eaten at one restaurant three (3) times IN THE FIRST WEEK
Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout

I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
