Horrible experience at this hotel but it is a great location it’s so loud around the hotel and there’s food trucks behind the hotel which makes it smell awful. Very small parking as well. It’s also bug infested I would advise people to look else where the staff is horrible the guy in the morning comes off a bit racist and should be fired immediately and the lady that works night shift is just lost and doesn’t help with things you may need as a guest I strongly advise people to avoid this place at all cost still traumatized by the way me and my partner were treated and we are looking into what we can do to prevent this to happen to anyone else.

We loved this hotel because it was very inexpensive, clean, and had a great location to everything. The hotel its self is small and older. However our room was remodeled with a tile shower, new flooring and the linens weren’t that bad. They had a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, plates, bowls, glasses, cups and silverware in the room. This made it helpful to prep and eat breakfast in our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had beach chairs, mats, umbrellas and beach towel for you to borrow. The hotel was right a cross the road and in walking distance to the beach. The hotel provided coffee from the island, bath and body shampoo, conditioner and soap. They don’t have a daily “resort fee” like the other hotels and the parking is only $25 a day. If you’re looking for just someplace to sleep and shower this is the place! The view wasn’t the greatest and we did see a couple small bugs the first day but we asked them to spray. They did and we didn’t see any the rest of our stay.

Easy to book and NO resort fees! Very professional, kind and smiling staff (Thank you!!), very flexible with my checkout time giving me an extra hour so I can enjoy the beach in the morning of my departure, they held my luggage before check-in and post check-out, room was clean, has essentials and great location, just 2 blocks from the beach and central Waikiki, all walking distance. They have beach towels and chairs you can borrow too! Nothing is amiss. Thank you and highly recommend! Mahalo!

This is an inexpensive, one-star hotel so bring one-star expectations and you'll be pleased as punch by the location and the availability of free boogie boards and beach chairs. You should know that there is no cleaning service for stays of less than a week and the rooms are pretty noisy. On the plus side of the leger, it is next to an excellent musubi restaurant.

Very central- lives up to its name! We loved the location but had a few problems. The dishes and coffee machine were dirty (wet coffee still in the pot). The second floor balcony window we could not open due to noise from nearby outdoor ac machine fans. There is also a funny little rooster that roams the area but he is roostering his heart out all night and up to 8am or so. The hotel is on the same street where a lot of homeless people sleep at night so it is good to detour to avoid them. However, the main problem was that our room door was open when we returned from our day out. We always make sure to close the door so we were very creeped out and felt UNSAFE. We checked the hotel room for hidden cameras and any missing items but still did not feel safe. The management was nice about it but didn’t do anything to help us feel safer. Unfortunately we will not be staying again

Location is probably the best attribute, literally steps away from the beach, food places and stores. Otherwise the price reflects the dated rooms. Clean otherwise and if your only intent is to have a place to rest at night, this is a good choice unless money is not your main concern. For a longer stay I would though look around more

This is a very great hotel for people that enjoy the beach! Yes, the rooms were pretty basic but they looked good and plus, who is gonna stay in their room the whole vacation! One of the reasons i didn’t give 5 stars is because it was very noisy sometimes but luckily the balcony windows were noise canceling but the view wasn’t the bust but i don’t really mind. You could also borrow beach towels, surf boards, and chairs to seat on! I really recommend this hotel to someone looking to be close to the beach and pay less money!

Location is incredibly convenient - short walk to the beach, musubi shop, poke restaurant, McDonald's, bars, and bus stops.||Room decor is average. Rooms have mini fridges and microwaves and are clean. My room had a small outdoor balcony with two chairs and a table. ||No beach view, the hotel is surrounded by taller hotels and condos.||There are no resort fees, and no daily housekeeping (though I think you can ask for it on an exception basis). You can get replacement towels, coffee, garbage bags, toiletries at the front desk. Front lobby also has a variety of beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, and boogey boards to borrow. ||Front desk is only open 8AM to 8PM so plan to get the aforementioned supplies at the start of the day or when you return from sightseeing. ||Staff was very friendly, helping with restaurant recommendations, bus stop locations, and early morning checkout logistics. ||The one negative for me was street noise. I could hear garbage trucks and a moving company at 4AM. ||Overall, it's a great sightseeing base if you don't need an ocean view. You can spend the savings on food / beverages / tours / shopping.
