Amazing Staff, Great Views, but Some Noise Issues We stayed at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort for three nights in an Oceanfront Junior Suite, and while the overall experience was wonderful, there were some highs and lows. *Room & Views: Originally, we were booked in a Oceanfront Junior Suite room, but when we checked in, there was only Diamond head side view room available. Next day, thanks to the incredible help from Anna at the front desk, we were able to switch to a Waikiki side Oceanfront View room. Despite the challenges with the ongoing union workers' strike, which affected the availability of housekeeping staff, Anna went above and beyond to make the change happen. She really saved our trip, and my wife was thrilled with the new room, which offered stunning ocean views. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. *Service: The staff at the hotel, especially Anna, were fantastic. Her willingness to help despite the hotel being short-staffed due to the strike showed her dedication to guest satisfaction. We can't thank her enough for her efforts. *Noise Complaints: While the room was great, noise was unfortunately an issue during our stay. Throughout the day, the noise from the ongoing union strike was hard to ignore, with protests and chanting that lasted all day. On top of that, late at night, there were occasional disturbances from the street below, where some cars made terrible noise, almost like illegal racing. It made it difficult to enjoy a completely peaceful stay. *Overall: Despite the noise from both the strike and the street, the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort still provided us with an excellent stay, largely thanks to Anna's assistance and the beautiful oceanfront room. If you're visiting during a quieter time, this hotel would be a perfect choice for a relaxing.

Our stay in Waikiki Marriott Resort and Spa feels like home because of HELEN from Housekeeping. Her work and service was OUTSTANDING! which makes our stay comfortable and welcoming. She is the best housekeeper ever! You’re gonna want to keep on checking in to this hotel if you have her as your housekeeper. We have longer stay here and every time she does our room, it feels like we just checked in on our first day..like you can feel and see how clean your room after. It exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much Helen for your excellent service.

Comfortable. Across a busy street from the beach. In the heart of activities. Most tours pick up/drop off at hotel. Sadly, don't go to the luau/buffet. Lots of flavorless food. Although the dancers & singers were professional. On weekend nights the outside disco next door was annoyingly loud. Weekday evenings were quiet. Great continental breakfast!

I am so happy that we chose to stay at this property. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Janeen at the front desk was amazing and just made us feel so welcome and helped us so much. I miss her! Our view was breathtaking and the room was beautiful. Our room was cleaned everyday by the most amazing housekeeping team ever. I would absolutely stay here again. If you are thinking of booking this property, just do it!

This place is both nice/well-kept and in a great, convenient location near Kuhio Beach Park, Queens Beach, Honolulu Zoo and numerous food options. Their pool area is really good and they offer both dining and shopping onsite, which makes things easy. Staff is friendly/knowledgeable and getting around this place is pretty simple and intuitive. ||We found that the room was spacious and had a great balcony with a partial ocean view, which we didn’t expect. If you rent a car or are driving in, they provide an easy and efficient valet service to take the stress out of Waikiki parking, which can get pretty dicey. ||A couple of tips.. cost isn’t too bad for Waikiki, but they do hit you with a daily resort fee so be prepared for that. If you’re seeking secluded romance and solitude.. this may not be your choice spot since it is consistently loud, crowded and the lobby/common areas always seem chaotic. Again, you’re in a fantastic location so that’s going to come with the turf. ||Overall, excellent spot to choose, especially if you have kids and want direct beach access and restaurant options at your fingertips. Definitely recommend and would stay here again myself.

Everything feels modern, clean, and fresh. Everything has a modern touch of brightness and contemporary design, which is also minimalistic. The Hawaiian theme really set this hotel above grounds, especially their on theme Starbucks. Lovely hotel, amazing atmosphere, rooms are the highlight.

The location of this hotel was good. It was about a block from the beach, walking distance. It was not on the beach, but it was very close, there is no service on the beach at any hotel in Waikiki. The rooms were a decent size and if you have an ocean front view, it is beautiful. They do not have room service, which was one of our complaints. For such a big hotel with so many guests, they should have room service. We booked excursions with the company that they have downstairs and we were ripped off. I wish that they had their own concierge that booked through them. The staff was nice and friendly. The price wasn’t too bad for our stay.
