Really bad service the people from the front are really not helpful we paid with our card and it was declined and we paid cash but they removed also money from my bank account. NOT A GOOD A PLACE TO STAY it’s better to pay more money on a place that you feel safe Bad service not clean rooms and towels that they suppose to be white and they’re black. Also the smell of the rooms are really bad. This is not even a star
This place is right off Main street, and everything is within walking distance; shops, restaurants, library and more. The beach is only a quick 15 minutes from here too. The rooms have TV, heating and air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and a nice comfy bed. Anna has a beautiful garden in the front of the hotel and in the parking lot. Along with a laundry room if you need to do some laundry during your stay. She has lots of brochures in the office for you to plan your day or days during your stay.
Some of those rooms got bad odors. Some of the heaters do not work yet. And when you do check in there, you just fall. You're supposed to check out at 11 o'clock. But those people over there dock on your door at 10 9 o'clock. It's a, are you checking out today?
Rooms have been remodeled, which aren't too bad, but the house keeping is seriously lacking. Floor not swept, found a pill under the edge of the bed, a long hair on the edge of the tub, and towel threads on the bathroom floor. I was 60% sure I wasn't going to extend my stay, but I slept better last night than I usually do in a hotel and the shower was awesome. I think the 50's heater/ air conditioning unit created great white noise to allow peaceful slumber. I know this is one of the lowest hotel rates to be had in this area, and if the house keeping were up to par, it would be great.
Positive: A very nice quiet place to stay lots of nice changes all around, very clean, centrally located! Staff Very professionalI was there on business/ pleasure it exceeded all of my expectations my 5th stay each one is way better than the last I highly recommend Negative: Nothing wrong here
Bad customer service, employee at the lobby was not very helpful, was very rude. I booked my reservation since i was in town for my grandfather's funeral for 5 days. I arrived to the motel and the employee said she only had availability for 2 nights. Even though my reservation clearly said 5 nights. Employee at the lobby told me it was my problem and to cancel if i wanted. I am already having a rough time and this is more stress added.
Had a very easy check in experience. Regardless of past reviews the motel does accept debit for payment. The rooms I booked were very nice, clean, and had the basics for a good stay. Bed was comfortable, and I liked the fact of having a firm and a soft pillow. The motel was quiet, but did have one customer closing doors hard. Parking was good since you have an assigned space, and it was easy to get into. Had a guest laundry on site, which is nice. Outside the motel looked nice, safe, and clean. Rooms were renovated and were also nice. Access to nearby shopping was a plus. Didn't see any problems like others had posted and enjoyed my stay. If you're in the area, need a reasonable place to stay, it cant be beat.
Me and my boyfriend went to Salinas for a birthday party and needed a place to stay for 1 night. Many of the hotels had no vacancy the night we needed, so there were only a few motels to choose from, very slim pickings... So we did our research and booked the Wagon Wheel (nothing fancy). We pulled in and it's off a very busy street, but we were aware of that. The room was very clean, and you don't hear the traffic noise too much. There is a flat screen tv, microwave and coffee maker in the main room, with laminate flooring. The bedspread and furniture is a bit dated, but it was very clean and that is what we cared about. Clean room, clean sheets, towels, etc. The bathroom had granite bathroom counter and shower stall, with glass doors, no shower curtain which was nice, there is a hairdryer connected to the wall that works great!. Our room was just a few doors down from where you check-in. We were only there to sleep before driving back to Sonoma the next morning, so we didn't need anything fancy. Overall we were quite surprised at this find and we would stay here again. There is also an ice machine and washer / dryer on premises for your use as well. Smoking is outside in the little garden area if your a smoker. Good place if your don't want to spend alot just to have a place to sleep.
We started here as part of a three winery tour on a Saturday. We were the only people there early in the day, and we had a long visit with the winemaker. The setting is perfection! We loved the wines. We would definitely recommend, and we will defini
