Average at best…. I was super excited to try out this hole in the wall, dive looking restaurant! I love a good dive! The staff was nice, but the service was pretty dismal. The food portion was OK and I was able to finish everything on my plate. Don’t let the picture fool you because the plate is pretty tiny and makes the food look like it’s filling a big plate! The food didn’t seem like anything spectacular and was really just basic. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the gravy was flavorful.
Great friendly service and good homemade like food in small quaint old cafe in the old west town of Cave Creek. I liked it. Seating inside and out on the screened in porch.
Diner style and enough divey to ensure yummy food. Breakfast and lunch and pay with cash only. Fabulously flavorful burger was big enough to share in the half pound size. Fries were crispy perfection. My dad eats here a lot and says their breakfast is excellent. Especially their grits.
Place is run down but has character. French toast had a hair on it when delivered. I picked it off and just didn’t eat that slice. Biscuits and gravy were bland but made worse by the fact the gravy was luke warm at best and the biscuits were actually colder in the center. Potatoes were seasoned well, could have used a few more minutes on the grill. I’m guessing the ratings are held up by locals that have special sentiments about the place. For those that are looking for a great breakfast - go elsewhere.
Amazing place! The food is so good, I wish I could eat here every day, it's cheap enough that I almost can! The people who work there make you feel like family!
This place was AMAZING. When you go somewhere for the first time, you never know what you are getting. However, this seems like where the locals hang out. . Service was great , food was delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy , which I was told is homemade every day! This is an old school establishment , so don't let the outside look deter you away. If you are looking for homemade local food, this is the place to go!!!!
This was my first time at this establishment. I can say it's a tired, little sad place, in extreme need of a complete makeover. This is NOT in any way handicap compliance. The staff was nothing short of GRAND . We arrived with 14 ( I called ahead) and found everything ready. The food was very good and the price was about right.
On my behalf, ide like to state that the food was upmost ok- at best, Ive rated this place poorly because of the outrages fees included, this includes the 18% gratuity fee if you have over 5 people in your group, and also, the tax fee added to the net price is kinda outrageous, being that it's over 10%, what's also bad is that they don't tell you anything about it as you enter. Customer service was good .

My two daughters and I enjoyed this hike into a shaded area with lots of vegetation and Cottonwoods. 50 minutes drive from Central Phoenix, near Cave Creek. The last 4 - 5 minutes of the drive is on a dirt/gravel road. The Jewel of the Creek parking
Service is exceptionally great, every time, and the donuts are the best we've had. Scott's always so nice...this family-owned jewel is like home. Love, love, love the apple fritter and Boston Creme. The turkey and cheese croissant is soooo tasty,
Awesome hike, very rocky moderately difficult but not bad if you take your time. This viewing spot was about 1/3 up and 15 min. Takes 40- 50min to the top.
We loved this place because it has an excellent patio for dogs and very friendly staff. The coffee was excellent with all options of oatmilk , soy or almond milk. Rustic decor. Almost looks like a saloon from the Wild West days. Enough parking.
The food was great! I was unsure at first if I would enjoy my usual Thai dishes so I decided to go with the spicy wings, coconut shrimp, pot stickers and cucumber salad and a glass of red wine. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small town with gre
First time here. Was looking for a quiet dinner and got so much more. The property appeared to be built around the trees. It really felt like a great picnic at sunset under trees and open air. The service was wonderful. The ahi tuna tacos were very f
