The steak sandwich was so good! Mushrooms and onions were soft. The steak was tender. Prices are super affordable. Service was very nice on the phone and recommended the sandwich.
My family and I were looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday. The Wagers staff was kind and happily accomandated 9 guests. The food was wonderful. They offered skillet pizzas..Wager home made burgers.. Tater tots.. Salads.. Large baked potatoes.. Grilled chicken.. Chicken tenders.. We also got a very tasty appetizer.. The server also brought extra plates so we could enjoy birthday cake..
Saw this place when searching for dinner near our hotel. Since it wasn't a chain and got good ratings we tried it. We were disappointed with the minimalistic bar atmosphere, but they had trivia night and people were enjoying it. As we read in other reviews, the food was EXCELLENT! I think it was the best steak sandwich I have ever had! Tender, juicy beef with perfectly sauteed sweet onions and the softest hoagy bun ever. I don't eat mushrooms and the kitchen and waitress had no problems serving them on the side for my husband (we split our meal). We were a bit surprised to see a patron smoking at the bar as it is outlawed almost everywhere else, but luckily it didn't ruin our meal. Unfortunately we didn't catch our waitress' name, but she was friendly and efficient and they made a good cosmo with our favorite vodka!
I've been told this is the best place in Macon to watch a game. The vibe was great, there were one type of TVs, a good mix of people, and the bartenders were so nice. I would definitely say stop in if you've never come!
I hate that I wasn't aware it was a smoking bar. I smelled like an ash tray after leaving. Not sure I'd visit again especially when I'm trying to eat and the person next to you isn't even smoking their cigarettes but letting them just sit in the ash tray and blow smoke all over your food. The bar tender was very kind and attentive for the most part.
Nice local bar and grill with good food and service. The only drawback is that smoking is allowed inside. Outside seating is available.
Probably the Best Burger south of the Mississippi. Cool vibes, great lagers! Gerald is a master in the kitchen, Chris slaying behind the bar. A must go in Macon! Cheers

More than a bar, more of an entertainment venue. Drinks, food, small stage, pool tables, and darts. Check their schedule for karaoke, bands, and even texas hold'em.

We've been coming here for many years, through a few ownerships. I hate that they took out the soft-tip dart boards. We stopped coming when they did that and only occasionally stop by for a beer here or there now.
Walking on the treadmill, you see the following words written on the wall: hard work, determination and dedication. Yes, these words inspire you, but the best inspiration is Anthony Bright. He is amazing! With a combination of tough love and caring e
We loved this place. So much history. Did you know that Gregg and Cher's pool table is there covered with memorabilia? You can walk into the world-famous 7 head shower! Convenient parking, easy to find.
Beautiful visitor center and well Preserved grounds. Nice 17 minute orientation film too. Mounds are all within walking distance to visitor center but does take some time to walk in between. Walk ways are nice but do provide challenge to those with m
A very interesting cemetery with a lot of history. It was created when the city realized that the City Cemetery (see my review) would not be adequate for their growth. The terrain is very hilly and the roadways are tight. It contains notable peopl
20231211 Be sure to duck! The little pathway into the Earth Lodge has a low clearance. It is also very narrow, not for larger size individuals and those who does not like small, dark spaces.
I've traveled here on many occasions. Each time you come, you can find yourself getting into something different. If you like to walk and run, the paved trail is for you. If you'd like to rest and recharge, the wooden swings may be for you. Maybe
I had the privilege of working at this venue, and it's safe to say that it was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who treated me with ki
Amerson has become my favorite place to escape to. I love this park so much, I've even volunteered to keep it clean. I've found so many interesting side trails to the river banks. My dogs and I have a lot of joy and fun here. Having a place to exerci
Absolute pleasure from start to finish. Both Brenda and husband Wayne delivered very informative and insightful details on the home and family. Wayne has a tremendous knowledge of the Civil War and itâs impact on Macon. Both were very receptive t
Went to see a play here on Nov. 6th called Lover's and Friends and it was hilarious. Also very entertaining in general. Nice Theatre felt very authentic to its history with nice updates to the restrooms. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the play
