Took my 6 month old shelter puppy I adopted 1 week ago to Wagbar for the first time tonight! Bought the day pass for this first try, but are definitely buying the annual pass! This is the GREATEST place EVER for off leash play & fun for the humans too! I had heard great things about this place for a couple years now from friends, but it exceeded our expectations by 1,000% Even if you’re just visiting Asheville or passing through town with your dog…this is a MUST STOP! Thank you to all the employees & other doggie owners that made our first visit SO FUN!!!! We’ll see ya again tomorrow!!!! 🐶❤️🍺
Is this the best bar in Asheville? It might be. Great staff, good drink selection, and too many cute pups! Our dog was beyond tired after an afternoon of romping around and playing with his pup pals.
Absolutely love going here. It’s a great place to bring your dog to tire them out. Fans to cool off in the summer, heating for the winter.

Probably our favorite place in the Asheville area. Dog park meets bar with an awesome drink selection. The staff is very attentive to breaking up any roughhousing so you and your pup can enjoy in peace. All dogs are checked for vaccine requirements and you feel very secure. Tiny Chihuahuas to massive Great Danes are safe and happy here. They also often have live music which adds up to paradise. Only downside is it’s not very walkable to other places, but it’s also nice that it’s more quiet because of that fact. People get in free but $10 per dog for a day, with options for bundles that help the price.
Excellent! I've been to a few dog park bars throughout the country and this one was easily one of the better ones. Its just the right amount of space for the dogos, great selection of beer and drinks, friendly bartender, and this was on a freezing day... I'm sure on a nice day its even better.
We are in the midst of a holiday road-trip with our girls, coming from a very dog-friendly St. Pete. We knew we had to stop at Wagbar, and it did not disappoint. The staff is incredibly friendly, balancing a careful eye to dog safety along with kindness and plenty of belly rubs. Kye and Mango send their thanks!
Wonderful experience! Took my dog here for the first time. I was a little nervous, about the other dogs behaving but my fears were put at ease when I arrived. The staff is VERY attentive and monitoring the dogs while allowing me to enjoy some adult drinks. I will be bringing my dog back here without a doubt! Loved it!

The only place we've been is Publix. That store is fantastic. The employees are very polite and helpful. The only drawback is the food prices r a little high but the meat and produce is very good.
It's always a very clean environment with good food. I usually get the Cobb salad. The only issues are 1) the drive thru line can get pretty backed up, but it's worth it and 2) the chicken breading can sometimes be a bit off.. perhaps it was prefried
