Wafu - Japanese restaurant in Owasso - 9045 N 121st E Ave #500, USA

Ramen was great. Poke bowl, not even close. Bowl wasn't even half full, ordered double Masago there was next to nothing, ginger 1 piece, wasabi smaller than the size of a pea. Jalepeno 2 slices. Overall, I was very disappointed. Had to suplement from my kitchen to make it edible. I ordered so I didn't have to do that.

I have a very high expectation for ramen since i’ve been to so many different places! This will be my second time dining at Wafu, as always the customer service was wonderful, my order was taken fairly quick and food was on the table within 12 minutes of sitting down, boss checked on me frequently, was extremely polite and consistent. I ordered The black garlic tonkotsu ramen. The pork wasn’t as tender as i prefer but the broth was great, veggies were fresh and my belly was very happy:) 14$ total.

This place have the freshest fish in this city! Too bad I live so damn far from this place. The noodles were🔥🔥🔥 I tried just about everything on that section. I would definitely ask for more of the eggs on the side because half isn't enough. Portion was good enough for $14!

There was just not much to get excited about at Wafu. The meals were very average. No distinct flavor or presentation that will bring me back. My wife had the Hawaiian Bowl. The shrimp and crab were very good, but no stand out flavors. I wanted to try the one of the Donburi meals. Most of them had seaweed salad. That a no go for me, so I went with the Spicy Chicken Ramen. Bland and boring. I wanted to hit the ramen with a good dose of sriracha sauce, but the spout was incrusted with what appeared to be very old dried sriracha sauce buggers, as was every other bottle on every other table. Pass. I don’t understand why restaurant’s take a few minutes and clean the condiment bottles. It makes a hell a of a difference in the customers perception of the restaurant. The Crab Rangoon was decent with a good dipping sauce. There was a little communication barrier. The waitress was somewhat difficult to understand, and she had difficulties understanding us. The service was adequate. For the price, not recommended. Best place for a bowl of ramen! Customer service is amazing, and the owner is super nice. Thank you for such a great experience. I recommend everyone to try out this place.

Was really excited to try Wafu and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is very clean and the owners were busy cleaning in between customers why we were waiting for or to go order. The service was top notch and are to go order placed in the restaurant was ready in under 10 minutes. We started with Crab Rangoon that was the best I have had anywhere in the area! We also had egg drop soup and it was very good. For main dishes me and the wife ordered House special Udon noodles and the Wafu bowl. Both were fantastic! The noodles and shrimp were perfectly cooked and the seafood was fresh as was the vegetables 😋 Cant wait to return and try the Ramen. Great restaurant, great food prices are $$$ on point for the quality.

My wife and I have been here twice now, and both times had excellent food. The chicken curry ramen in particular was wonderful. The taste of curry was absolutely present, but didn't completely overpower the dish. The atmosphere really is a stand out here, with absolutely beautiful wall art and a cool projector on the wall that spins their logo. It feels like a fresh and more modern take on Japanese restaurant decor. My wife loves their Thai Iced Tea, and says that it is sweet with that signature thai iced after taste. I would like to note that the service the first time was amazing, and the waitress was very sweet to us. The second time around, we had to wait for quite a while to get drink refills and the server wasn't very personable, but it wasn't enough for them to lose a star over. Overall, if you're looking for a good option for ramen but don't want to drive into Tulsa from Owasso, I feel that Wafu can scratch that itch!

To preface this review I LOVE RAMEN so I have high expectations when I try a new place. We've had Wafu twice now. Once to go and the other dine in. I'll say the to go experience wasn't what I had hoped for but dining in redeemed that for me. I ordered the Wafu tonkotsu - it was good but I feel like the broth has potential to be better. My partner ordered the spicy chicken ramen and he really liked it a lot! To drink, I got the sweet peach green tea with peach popping boba and it's SO GOOD!!! In summary, I'll certainly be back but I think there is room for improvement!
