Waffles Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant - Breakfast restaurant in Salinas - 1465 N Main St, USA

Came in for breakfast today. Was looking forward to a great meal instead there was hair in my food . Yes another was plate was made but there was no discount for the inconvenience. Let alone the girl was still not wearing hair protection.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The customer service was stellar. The hostess was literally the sweetest ever and the waitress did everything we asked. The food was great and I would definitely come back again. They had grits! I have been determined to have some since getting over to the west coast and I finally found this gem. Thanks guys!

The breakfasts looked good, but that's where the good news ends. The waitress was really nice but a bit slow for there only being two other tables of people there at the time. We ordered the enchilada omelet and the egg and cattle steak burger dishes. The enchilada casserole tasted like it came out of a can and the hash browns tasted bitter. The steak burger was decently seasoned but just ok tasting and the country potatoes were terrible. I salted and lathered them in ketchup and still couldn't eat them. There was something off in the flavor of the potatoes. The eggs in both plates were just fine and they butter their toast really well. They are WAY too pricey also. A HALF stack of pancakes (pancakes) is $9.95! The plain ole waffle is also $9.95... We were excited to finally try this place after the good reviews and food pics but we were sorely disappointed.

Good "breakfast burrito" I thought I would be able to eat it with my hands but got this and had to eat with the utensils was still good. It was a recommendation from a friend and was it good. I'd be back if I was ever in the area again. Good food and amazing service to customers. The workers were very attentive.

Despite the friendly staff and service, i can't rate this place higher because the food was a bit lackluster. The eggs were fine. Toast was fresh and soft. But my steak, although it was cooked correctly, was really fatty and not seasoned well. The country potatoes were the most problematic. No flavor. 👎🏽 some were crispy, some were undercooked. Very few pieces of onions or bell pepper. My friend had hash browns, french toast, bacon and eggs. He gives the bacon and hash browns a thumbs up.

Nice sized omelets good flavor and waffles were good too. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

I've had many different dishes on many occasions and everything was always delicious!
