Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Richmond - 220 Eastern Bypass, USA

Tonight at 7:45 ish I stopped to grab some dinner at this establishment. My favorite is always the patty melt on regular bread ( I hate Texas toast to much bread) hash browns scattered, double covered and a slice of pecan pie. The waitress ask me did I want the grilled onions and I said oh yes exactly as the sandwich comes just use the regular bread not the Texas toast. We discussed this three times. So I get my food in minutes. I figure it is due to no customers and leave. I get home tell me why my sandwich is like a hamburger on toast? My pie looks like it is a half slice of a half slice of pie? The patty is so overcooked it is dry as if it were cooked twice? Just curious about why these establishments lets this happen over and over. I eat Waffle House constantly. The last three trips to different ones in different states has been horrible.

Loved this place! Was greeted as we walked in... Sat ourselves and our waitress Amberly came over immediately with a friendly smile. Def great customer service 💚 Took our drink orders, coffee was fresh. Made a couple good recommendations and made ordering pleasant! Food came out quick and everything was delicious and filling! Fluffiest waffles ever 🥞 Good location and good parking. $40 for 3 full meals and 3 drinks. Will definitely be back next time we are out here!

Traveling and stopped in to pick up breakfast for my daughter. The absolute worst Waffle House I’ve ever been to. No greeting upon entering and all of the waitresses looked at me like they wondered why I was there. The vibe was very unwelcoming and unfriendly. Waited 10 minutes just to have my order taken. Was told by unknown waitress who was not wearing a name tag (short sassy middle aged blonde) to “step down here to the register sister!” Excuse me? Why would anyone address me in that manner. She demanded I pay for my To-Go order before making it because “it’s Waffle House policy” I asked since when because while traveling I have never been told to pay prior to receiving my food. “I’ve been here 16 years and it’s always been that way”. As a former Waffle House employee who was a waitress and grill operator I know that to be a lie. The type of prejudice people in this establishment are the reason I hate visiting Waffle Houses now. Waffle House might as well put up a Whites Only sign in these areas.

Been awhile since I've been here ... Brittany was our waitress and was absolutely amazing ! She not only was kind , but professional . Waffle house , is extremely lucky to have her ! Food , was great as well .

Went a few times while staying at the Ramada. Was glad that they are open 24 hours. Staff was friendly, doesn’t matter what time Ive gone in. Food is what you’d expect from Waffle House. Place was clean and orders comes out fairly quick.

Good old Waffle house, where the show put on by servers and cooks alike is worth the stop. A very simple concept that works for a quick affordable breakfast that we look for when on a long road trip. Listening to the servers call off your order to the cooks and actually receiving what you ordered never ceases to amaze me that each person can keep so much information in their heads and get it right. If you are looking for a good breakfast that is not fancy or overpriced stop at a waffle house enjoy the entertaining atmosphere and the simple breakfast plates offered.

This has to be the cleanest waffle house I've ever been to they even scrub the sidewalk. Great job

Sheena was our waitress and very nice. She was getting off her shift when we walked in and stayed to help get our orders in. Great customer service! I know after a long day and large groups of people walking in it would be easy to be tired just checkout. She didn't and we really appreciated it. Hard workers need to be recognized. Got a blueberry waffle well done and didn't disappoint. Texas cheesesteak hashbrown very good.
