Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Beech Island - 4390 Jefferson Davis Hwy, USA

The food was exactly what we were looking for. We all had biscuits and sausage, gravy, and some people had the larger breakfast. Our kids were able to order lunch which satisfied them. The location was great. The service was good. The only note that I have is that it’s a working kitchen in front of you that more attention should be paid to the food that dropped in the Food Lion because it’s visible to the customers. That’s the only thing that I noted. I’m a firm believer in the fact that they were at work and that’s what happens when it’s too busy to clean in between.

Jas was an excellent server. There was a short wait for a table, but it was Sunday morning. They were out of grits, but we all chose hashbrowns

Tyler my cook was amazing food was fantastic I thought I was at a 5 star restaurant. I couldnt believe how great and brown my waffle was. Ive never had a waffle quife like that. Chrissy was the best server she immediately welcomed me got my drink and silverware and got my order out to me within 5 minutes tops. SHE refilled my drink 15 times. Ive never experienced southern hospitality like this before. Frank was an amazing server and even did my taxes for me, i got back double on my tax returns! jk but i did leave him some money because he was so helpful. I dropped my food and he was kind enoughto sweep it up.

We came Christmas. The servers were attentive and the food was warm and delicious. The juke box helped to lighten the mood with good country and rock classics.

I had a horrible experience as I was asked twice in the hour I was there if they can help me and that was when I sat at my table I was asked if I wanted coffee, which took 10 mins for my Luke warm coffee to arrive then another 15 mins to take my order, at this point i was out of coffee and was asked after another 20 mins for my food to come because my order was never given to the cook apparently and still wasn't asked if I wanted coffee. It wasn't until my food was brought to my table if I wanted coffee at this point I just left and still left her a 10 tip off of a 8 dollar bill. Never judge a book by its cover is my suggestion. Good luck to that waffle house.

This particular Waffle house is located on Highway #1 in Clearwater South Carolina. I went there today and walked in the door at 1:55 p.m., by 2:15 p.m. I had yet to be waited on, or even acknowledged my presence or existence there. They had one young gentleman cooking, one waitress washing dishes and two waiting on tables. Halfway through my wait, one of the waitresses walked towards me only to walk right by me making eye contact with me, and she had to have noticed absolutely nothing, no water or nothing sitting on my table in front of me. She walked pass me through the office and on outside to take a smoke break. When it got to be 2:15 I asked for a manager. The waitress washing dishes stopped what she was doing and went and got the manager. I told him what had happened. He began spitting out one excuse after another talking about short handed and such. I said they must not be if a waitress can walk right by a customer that obviously hasn't even been waited on yet and go take a smoke break, yes smoke break, I saw her. I really didnt know what else to say so I told him in front of everyone that I had been coming there for years and that was the first time anything like that had ever happened. I also told him that when this sort of scenario begins to play out he needs to come out of the office and help out. I told him his number one priority above all else was his customers that are coming in there with money keeping Waffle Houses open and assuring he has a job and a pay check. I told him he needed to go back to Waffke House management training 101 and left. I'll go back, but not when that particular manager and his staff is on duty. Waffle House needs to step up to the plate and do something about such as this. This is the kind of laziness that can ruin a business. This happened Friday, October 6th 2023 at around 2:00 p.m. In a place to eat, especially a Waffle House, 15 to 20 minutes of waiting for no one to even acknowledge you're there is unacceptable.

Nasty place..sat there 30 minutes and was not even approached for service .. Tables were filthy.. bathrooms also ..Cant rate food because we didnt get to experience any...DO NOT recommend for anyone ..Waffle House ought to be ashamed 🤦🤦🤦🤦

Tasha and Kisha were excellent and the cook made my food to perfection.
