Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Hillsborough - 110 Daniel Boone St VILLAGE, USA

Okay this is a waffle House so I went with the idea thr atmosphere supposed to be kind of retro vintage which it was. It seemed pretty. Our server was friendly and very cheerful and chatty. She filled our drink cups and was there as soon as we needed anything. We had breakfast. I had a hash browns and bacon egg sandwich which was pretty good. U especially like the thick white bread they used for the sandwich. My husband had a breakfast bowl. The hash browns were slightly soggy he said it was soso. Overall, it was a nice breakfast experience.

We went to dine in. We understand the expectation of waffle house, we know it is what it is. But, a slow day staff refuses to clean and bus tables for us to sit, they're arguing with customers and talking negatively about them behind the counter, extremely rude, entitled, lazy, drug ridden staff. Stop hiring drug addicts, junkies and goons to work at your restaurants. If I wanted to be insulted by trailer trash I'd rather not pay for it.

It really exposes me as a lazy local. Someone I live with, will only accept a waffle house waffle. There is a homemade difference, but they win with effort& consistency.

If I could leave the “ service” selection at 0 stars I would! My fiancé and I sat down and was told they would be right with us because she was dealing with another customer.. we waited about 5 minutes ( which is perfectly fine because she was waiting on someone else). However, we ordered our food and our drinks.. our food got to us before our drinks and all the woman said was “ oh I forgot y’all’s drinks”. Now mind you, there was only 3 tables taken.. maybe a total of 7 people in there. The waitress never came back to check on us or refill our drinks.. there was a cook and 1 waitress in the dining area and about 3 people in the back having a good old time laughing and sounding like a big party back there.. then our waitress disappeared back there.. again never coming to check on us. She came back out and then immediately went back to the back.. my fiancé had to call for her to even come back to the table. Highly disappointed

It IS the Waffle House, but I'll leave a solid 4 star based on both my sandwiches were good, not dripping with grease. The server had jokes and gave me an amusing hard time, which I appreciate. The cook was in a good mood and it showed. Not what I expected from the Awful Waffle. Good job guys, thanks!

Came in for lunch and all it was, was the staff screaming at each other in front of customers, wait staff was horrible. Food was okay. Teach your employees to not cuss and yell at each other in front of customers

The Hillsborough Waffle House did me right at midnight. I’d been in the ER for 6 hours and decided to stop there for some breakfast before I went home. The food was perfect and the staff were great! I’ll be back late at night again!

If you're in the US and haven't visited a Waffle House, please go for breakfast there right now. Mainly situated in smaller towns. Typical American fast food that's affordable and super fresh. Try the peanut butter waffles for sure. The staff is super polite and welcoming, so do not forget to tip them. (Unlimited Coffee 💃)
