Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Cullman - 1900 Commerce St, USA

Terrible service. Patiently waited for over an hour while we watched others who came in after us be served and leave. They were out of their realm. One certain customer kept coming in behind the counter and help himself. Our waitress never put in our order and the cook kept telling her not to tell him more orders and how behind he was. 8 cars in the parking lot. Super terrible customer service and we left. We will not be back to this place. We drove 11 miles to the other Waffle House and we were in and out in under 30 minutes.

Food was as food goes at waffle house, but must say this one was better than most. Everything was as we order, done well and hot. Our waitress was what made our visit so great. She was absolutely the best. Knew how to handle her customers and how to chit chat and make them feel awesome. We will be going back, even though it's over a 6 hour drive.

Oct 5,23 @ 6:15pm, after being in the EMERGENCY ROOM for 4 hours and not having anything to eat, we go to this Waffle House and the cook AMBER had the worst attitude I have every seen in a Waffle House. When we walked in there were 3 tables needing cleaned off. I saw they were short staffed so I helped the waiter Christian clean a table so we could sit down. We were sitting right there close to the cook and every time he would read off what customers order she was so rude to him RIGHT I. FRONT OF ALL THE CUSTOMERS. I heard him tell her a order and she told him “ JUST TELL THEM IT’S BROKE “. She obviously didn’t want to cook whatever it was.!!! My husband ask for me some pickles and she mouthed off something to him. She then reached up and got a plate and proceeded to “ THROW THEM ON THE PLATE AND TOSSED THE PLATE WITH PICKLES ON THE PLATE.” A few minutes later she was putting her finger in his face. He was doing a really good job. Again I know they were shorthand but THERE WERE NO EXCUSE FOR HER RUDE BEHAVIOR. I WOULD’NT TOLERATE THIS RUDE BEHAVIOR IF I WAS STORE MANAGER. I will be calling the corporate office. I don’t know any of these people but all this rudeness was uncalled for . !!!!

Food was great! Server was amazing - forgot her name... sorry... She took our pictures. She patiently explained what "grits" is, coz we dont have this in most restaurants in Canada. Prices reasonable. Our first time and the visit was very pleasant!! Just a bit old... but no worries! Be be back!

These people are great! They greet you when you come in and are always some of the friendliest people ever! Even when they have new hires they are very patient with them and show great kindness you don’t normally see very often anymore. This Waffle House and the other one in Cullman are places you can go to feel at home. Both simply have amazing people and delicious food!

I will make the drive to this location. Servers were sweet and prompt. Food was hot and not overcooked. Restaurant is clean.

Great food if their workers aren't too busy and overworked this goes for all wafflehouse locations, quality of food depends on how busy they are, never had trouble with parking in the years. But this place is definitely a local staple and lived by many! Just have to go at the right time!

Server was too distracted or something. She asked 2 times if I needed more coffee, both times i said yes while looking her in the face. The 3rd time she asked, she finally found the pot and refilled my cup. After the 1st time she asked, it took almost 10 minutes before I finally got a refill. My bacon was not edible. 1 piece was burned, the other 2 had undercooked portions. Server asked if everything was OK and I mentioned the bacon being undercooked and showed her. She ordered another serving, it sat on the line after being cooked. I was never served the food. Server did reduce meal by $1 but only when i reminded her I never got the bacon. $12.75 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces toast, 1 waffle, hashbrowns, and a coffee. I feel ripped off. The clincher for my stopping here was the passive-aggressive tone in her 'have a great day' as i headed back to leave a few dollars under my plate. I have never eaten out and not left a tip, till now.
