Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Spartanburg - 2230 Chesnee Hwy, USA

We stopped while traveling from Florida. The food was basic Waffle House fare but was good. I tried the chicken hashbrown bowl and really liked it. What made this a great stop was the server. Her name was Liz. She was friendly, fast and professional. I watched her with other customers and she was the same. Her personality is so fun and she made this ordinary stop fantastic. If you stop in, ask for her and tell her hello from her non pork eating Alabama fan customer.

Waited roughly an hour for a waffle. We were all done eating and had to wait forever just to get our waitress' attention because once she dropped the rest of our food, telling us the waffle got burnt and has to be remade, she vanished to other side of the diner never even looking in our direction again. All 3 of us were chaining our necks, staring at her across the dining room. We tried to get other server/cooks attention, and were either ignored or they just weren't aware of what is going on around them. When we Did finally get her attention, she made the excuse that she had a big group. We had already ordered before that group came in, and still they got all the attention and we were ignored. Then she had to ask for the waffle to be made, and they quickly brought one that was so barely cooked on the outside and nearly liquid inside. Totally inedible. The the cashier's credit, she took the waffle off the ticket, but come on, that was awful.

I have never really liked waffle house and after this last visit I remembered why. Food is below average. (Bland)yall for the love of good plz add salt and pepper. Will not return

This Waffle House is our favorite in our area. We eat here almost every Saturday. But, today was different. The food was outstanding, as usual. But, the service today was beyond terrible. Our waitress today, Brittany, had the worst attitude of any waitress I have ever had. She took our order and handed our ticket to the guy calling out the orders and walked off. She never brought us our drinks. After about 10 min of watching her walk around drinking a Red Bull, I asked her if we could go ahead and get our drinks. She brought us our drinks and then took 2 straws out of her pocket and threw them hard down in the middle of the table , like she was mad. Our food came out and our waffle was missing. She said it wasn’t ready yet. So, by the time we had both almost finished eating she was nowhere to be found. The guy calling out the orders was standing next to our table. So, I asked him if he could check on it. He checked and it had been given to someone else because Brittany didn’t pick it up, when it was ready. So, they had to remake it. He brought it to us, when it was done. She never gave us any refills. So, he also gave my husband a refill on his tea. I have never left a restaurant without tipping. And, I normally leave a very generous tip at Waffle House. But, today I didn’t leave a tip at all. If you go to this Waffle House, just make sure you aren’t in Brittany’s section.

The employees were friendly and the food was amazing. If you like waffles then why not go to a restaurant that has waffles in its name? It made sense to me. No regrets. At least that's how I choose to dine when it comes to waffles. Thanks WAFFLE house.

Always great for a hash brown bowl. I love the food and the price isn't that bad either. I would recommend this restaurant anytime.

Don't remember the name of the waitress,but what a nice attention.. she's awesome person... thanks at all....

My husband always runs into someone he knows when we eat at nearby restaurants. Today was no different. Today, we were greeted by an old schoolmate. Food was delicious. Waitress was very friendly, as was everyone there. Always interesting at the Waffle House!
