Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Richmond Hill - 56 Sommers Blvd, USA

Jennifer was hustling! Ham, egg and cheese hash brown bowl was tasty and a big portion. I've never seen it with eggs cooked into a patty and served on top but it was still fine. Coffee was great and plenty of it. Parking lot is a little small for bigger vehicles but me and my Sprinter van did okay.

This was the worst service that I ever have had at the waffle House. The young lady that served me was worried about what she was doing this weekend instead of customer service. If you see a person don’t eat their food that means somethings wrong with it. The patty melt was good, but the hashbrowns was nasty and undercooked. I took two bites from it and never touched it again. This is sad after 11 hours worth of driving I can’t even get a decent meal to end my night with. I wash the other young lady was my server, because least she did talk to me and tell me it was on and off the menu. I will tell anybody in the future that parks at TA please do not eat at the waffle house. Don’t waste your money

Now listen, I don't usually write reviews, but this Waffle House was so *impressive* that I HAD to post one. I have lived in SC my whole life, and I've visited GA and FL many times, and in nearly every one of these trips I have stopped at a Waffle House. Now, most of the time, every Waffle House lives up to its stereotype, but THIS Waffle House goes above and beyond. The first thing I noticed is that this Waffle House was CLEAN. The building is well taken care of by the staff and and no point did I find myself uncomfortable. Even the bathrooms were sparkling! Secondly, our server, Lillian, was the absolute BOMB. She was very lively and in good spirits, and she took my order quickly and checked in with us periodically while also keeping each customer entertained with friendly chatter. Lastly, our food was served quickly, and I was not able to catch the name of the cook, but this was the BEST meal I've had at a Waffle House in a long time. I had no issues or complaints. Everything was cooked perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend stopping here during your travels for some good southern comfort and that good down-home warmth that is hard to find nowadays.

You guys are awesome. I was here with my husband and autistic son who is quite loud. Unfortunately my son doesn't talk - just screams. Every staff member was very understanding about it. They was very nice and friendly. Waffle House staff gave him a small toy like a slime. The staff are friendly, helpful and patient. Thank you for the heartwarming service. I didn't take any pictures as we were in a hurry. Thank you guys

As a truck driver I have been to many Waffle House’s in the whole US, and this one is a true gem! The treatment, the food, the happy faces, what a nice place! Thank you, Alexa, not a virtual 😅 but a real waitress! Big kudos!!

Our waitress was fantastic and so was the food. We will return to a waffle house when we see one again. Food on my plate still only because I was stuffed and couldn't eat another bite.

Gladys is a beast and a great asset to this establishment! She cooks, she cleaned tables, she handled the dishes, all the while directing her staff. She never missed a beat! The food was hot and perfectly prepared to order with even our specifications on this busy, busy morning! We were so amazed with this woman. I highly recommend this location if only for her expertise, kindness, and professional attitude. She never lost her cool.

Not all waffle houses are the same. This is not the worst one I've visited but not the best either. The server was friendly enough I guess. When I saw her. My glass actually got empty that never happens. She did just enough to say she did her job. I would understand if they were busy but no they weren't. The food was good. I had my usual, the sausage, egg and cheese hash brown bowl with a side of grits but today I had my egg over med. The food was awesome kudos to the cook! If your in a wheel chair it might be a tight fit in the ladies room. I like the shelf in the restroom for setting your phone or purse on though. Every public restroom should have a shelf.
