Waffle House - Breakfast restaurant in Florence - 7673 Burlington Pike, USA

So I went to this restaurant last week and it was extremely busy and I acknowledged that, however I was NOT nor was I ever acknowledged. I waited patiently at the register to place an to-go order and nobody ever looked up at me to take my order. A couple came in after me sat at the bar and was waited on immediately. I proceeded to leave and got in my car, the party behind me was immediately assisted and left while I was still getting in my car. Against my better judgment I went back there later on that week as this location is exactly 1 mile from my home to place an carryout order since I was unsuccessful days prior. Only to receive the WORST possible service EVER. I was greeted by saying "sit anywhere" I advised that I was placing a order to-go. Once the server got her stuff she asked what I wanted and took my order request. The grillmaster yelled while my order was being taken "order up" and server STOPPED taking my order to give her dine in guests their meals and then resumed with me, once we finished she literally just walked away and began "calling" "pull 1 bacon, eggs over WELL etc... the next thing she said to me as she placed the bag on the counter is "here you go" lol how rude???? It also reeked of sewage ABSOLUTE turn off. This will be the last time I eat at this location. I would drive to Cincinnati in the tricouny BEFORE eating at this place. P.S. do these look like "over-well egg yolks to you? Nahhhh.

Will not be returning Had a real simple order ask for my eggs over easy and blueberry waffles when I got my order my eggs are over hard my hash browns tasted like onions the only thing that was good was the damn waffle the bacon was cooked so hard that it crumbled when you pick it up I will not be returning to this particular Waffle House

Excellent food and service from our waitress today. However, the manager on duty was rude, dismissive and needed to text before checking us out and yelled at our waitress when she couldn't read the bill. Otherwise, excellent.

Everything was great, but I had 2 ants crawl on the table while I was trying to eat.

Wow. A stressful breakfast for sure! There was a booth, a long table, and 4 bar seats open when we walked in, so not terribly busy. No one was waiting so we walked straight to the booth. No one greeted us. After several minutes of observing the 7 employees (Tina, Teresa, Mark, Jimmy, Tony and two other ladies), I was disturbed and felt bad for those working. Teresa was yelling and being disrespectful to all the others. I watched as all of their faces gave the impression of “here we go” as though this is a norm. If that’s the case, that may be why so many other reviews write about staffing issues. You don’t treat people that way. And the yelling! No thank you. It was too much, too loud, and disruptive. Orders can be made and turned in without all of that. Jimmy finally got the chance to come over and tend to us, just after Teresa had scolded him seemingly making him appear so defeated over not saying something the correct way. He was nice, no complaining and was trying to defend their business being that although they were not packed so to speak, many were ordering side orders or add ons. He took our order, got our drinks and then went to wait in line to “submit” our order. Odd practice and did not seem to be a very customer friendly or efficient process. Once our order was in, Jimmy came back to check on us and confirm our order was turned in, which I knew because we were sitting their watching them all and could hear everything they were saying…….the complaining, the degrading, the snide comments, the frustration. Teresa clearly is the one in charge, known by the comments from her “my grill” and “my customers”, along with being the one getting on to all the others. One other obvious incident was when 3 people walked in and sat at an open booth, Tina came over after several minutes and made them get up because she needed to wipe the table off. Those people then stood beside our booth as we ate, for at least 10-15 minutes, waiting for her to wipe off the table. Really? Yes. The food was okay except the bacon was of poor quality and mostly fat. The tables and seats were clean. The floor needs a deep clean scrub. I’d suggest the bathrooms need new hand dryers because they are old and barely serve the purpose. Overall, Jimmy was good and the food was decent. The environment was not pleasant at all.

I've been to this location several times. I've had the same waitress back to back times. She's not very hospitable, nor is she even a decent waitress. Two of us ate, and food between us came at three different times. The last item came as we we're finished and had accepted that it wasn't even gonna come. She let us sit with empty drinks for the majority of the time we were there. Took forever to get her to look at us to get her attention to ask for refills. Next time, I'll be sure to find out where Jimmy Jam's section is and sit there. Also, Theresa is a huge asset to your company but I'm sure you know that. She is amazing how she knocks the food out. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. This is a location that should only be visited during the day. We've been there three different times on the night shift that they've turned us away and refused to serve us. All of the tables were trashed, and they've said they had to clean up.

Great service last night. I forget the gentleman’s name who waited on us but he was awesome and makes a great waffle(fluffy and good). He kept our drinks full and made sure we were satisfied. The cook was spot on as well.

The service was great! The food was fast and good. Love the coffee! The restaurant was clean.
