Vuolo's - Restaurant in Winthrop - 140 Lincoln St, USA

All I can say is WOW! This place is absolutely amazing! The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere. It was packed when we went but somehow quiet enough that we could talk to each other without having to yell. My favorite dish was the eggplant appetizer, but the Cacio e Pepe and the chicken parm were exceptional as well. The drinks were on the small side and a bit pricey, but I can’t remember the last time I had drinks that good. Tasty but sneaky strong! My favorite drink was the agave e limone. This place transcends the little town of Winthrop and is as good as it gets for Massachusetts. It might just be my favorite restaurant outside of Italy.

Went in on a Thursday night and it wasn’t too busy. With how good the food is I would expect it to get busier going forward. Staff was awesome and I believe the owner sat us when we walked in. We got sat at a table for 4 and there was only 2 of us to give us a little more space. We easily could have fit at a table for 2 but I thought it was very nice they gave us that extra space. Now for the food, we didn’t drink so I can talk about that, maybe next time. We got the stuffed peppers, meatballs, Ceasar salad and lobster rice balls, yes a lot to start but they have a lot that looks good on the menu and had to try a few things. The peppers were my favorite, the balsamic on them was perfect. Meatballs were nice and soft (no knife needed to cut) and the salad was fresh. The rice balls were awesome as well. I got the chicken Marsala as my main dish and the chicken was so tender I really didn’t need a knife for that either. All in all I think you should stop by and try this place, I plan to be back soon myself.

We really enjoyed our time at Vuolos! Wonderful service at the bar with Joe and Chris company! Incredible drinks that are extremely high quality with egg whites, New York sours, key lime pie luxurious cocktails, incredible seafood w homemade pasta, meatballs and more. Large portions, fresh salads, very reasonable prices. Thank u so much we’ll be back.

My partner and I loved our dinner at Vuolo’s! He got the pork chop with vinegar peppers, and I got the Chicken Francese. Perfect portion sizes, fresh ingredients, and well balanced flavors. Wait staff was wonderful. I also got the pistachio martini and was beyond pleased! I will say, it was a bit loud in there (likely due to the open layout), I didn’t mind it much, but I wouldn’t recommend going here on a friday night with the intent to chat through your meal.

We always have a great time at Vuolo’s. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Their fig flatbread is my favorite. They make great cocktails too. Perfect for a date night. And the service is fantastic!

We absolutely loved this place! We are already planning our next trip back, and we live on the Cape! We loved everything…the vibe, the service, the food and yes, the drinks! Everyone was super friendly, and we even recognized a few, familiar faces from the crew at Antique Table. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, but it never felt too loud. We could easily hear each other, and didn’t feel like we had to yell back and forth. Our server, Nick, was amazing and very attentive. We felt like we were his only table in a packed restaurant. The drinks were so creative, and the flavors all complimented each other perfectly! We tried a couple different ones because we couldn't decide. The “agave e limone” was our favorite. For food, we started with the Malanzana torre (crispy eggplant dish). This was, by far, the best eggplant dish we’ve ever had! It was perfectly crispy and paired with red sauce and fresh ricotta! Absolutely delicious! From there, we had the Caesar salad, cacio E Pepe and chicken parmesan. We loved everything, but the cacio e pepe was our 2nd favorite behind the eggplant appetizer. The fresh, homemade linguine was cooked perfectly and the cheesy, peppery sauce was incredible. We’ve had cacio e pepe in Italy and this was better! The sauce in this dish is not an easy one to make, and they executed it perfectly. We definitely recommend checking this place out! Love, love, love!

One always thinks “how good can ANOTHER Italian restaurant be?” And then you discover Vuolo’s and you get your answer. This tiny corner restaurant combined Hollywood style and glam with that New England Italian sense of family that you love. You walk in and are greeted immediately by the mother, Lisa and are blown away as you watch all night as both her family and family friends work hard to give you the best GD “home-cooked” Italian dinner you could ever ask for. If you’re looking for something glam but cozy, elegant but with a sense of family then look no further!

From what I read this is family owned place, well it did not disappoint! Amazing food! Super attentive staff, it was alittle loud but that's just people enjoying themselves. Homemade pasta and I'm sure the sauces were too. This place is a hidden wonder! Would definitely go again on another trip to Boston
