The playground is too sandy and I'm not comfortable with it, it looks like it might have broken glass. I wish it had rubber flooring or mulch. I just don't trust it, but the rest of the park is very safe and well kept. It is also a spacious park, I wish there was a small closed off area for a dog park. My dog needs to run unleashed and he can't do it here, but there seems like there is enough space for one.
Had my sons 7th birthday party here last weekend. This place is definitely a hidden gem! Super clean, well distributed park space with clean bathrooms. We paid $50 for a jumper permit and $150 to rent the 3 gazebos on the upper tier right next to the bathrooms. If we ever have another birthday party at the park, it will definitely be here!

Big beautiful park which is well maintained. Has public restrooms. A well sized playground and several gazebos scattered throughout the park which provide shade and seating. 2 large grass fields for sport and recreation.
I go there all the time. The park is gorgeous, however poorly maintained. I see maintenance boys in Chula Vista City Park vehicles sitting there on their phones for 2-3 hours. But whatever, the park is beautiful even in its little neglected state.

I absolutely love this park. It has a lot of space for the kids and not a bad restroom. No changing tables but that's okay. Will definitely go back while I'm in California
Nice park, bad parking. Not enough parking for events. No near by street parking either, so you have to park in residential parking (if you can find a parking spot) and hike back up to the park.

Nice dog park here. Brightly lit parking lot with ample parking. Expansive walking trails behind the park to San Miguel Mountain. Beautiful area. But do watch out for coyotes if you have small dogs if you are hiking in the trails behind the park. I h

Small family park, loved living next to it. Weekends you would have soccer and baseball games. Evenings family gatherings and movie nights. Love the small playground for my 2 year old. Itâs safe and perfect for his age.
The field is so wide/long and I love it! People play soccer and foot ball at the same time. The park has many trees for shade so you'll see people camping and having picnics too.
