VlVE HOTEL WAIKIKI - Featured Reviews (1071)
I was in Waikiki for a few days alone for business and wanted a place that was central, affordable and bright. I didn't want to have to get a rental car and they have an 18$ shuttle to airport if you need it. I booked from the website so no resort fee. Vive is the perfect place. The rooms are clean and modern looking , bed is comfortable and the lobby is bright and inviting. They have hot and cold items at breakfast that is included in the room fee and lots of fruit. Great friendly staff, 24 hour coffee and water with fruit slices in lobby, one block from the beach, 5 min walk to upscale supermarket. Beach mats and chairs on loan and umbrellas in case of rain. They really tried to think of everything you need. My room didn't have a view but I didn't miss it and there is a laundry service but no washer/dryer but that was no big deal for me. This is my go to place in Waikiki from now on.
Very friendly front desk 24 hour service and lovely staff at this hotel. The breakfast was yummy and it’s in a fantastic location, less than 5 minute walk from the beach/shops. Also has free chairs/towels etc available to guests to take to the beach which is super convenient. Loved my stay here.
The public areas - lobby, breakfast area - are beautiful. The staff is friendly, accessible and very helpful. Cory (front desk) was especially helpful during our two night stay. Room was very clean, but VERY small (smaller than our cruise cabin in our trip!). Really geared for those who will be out all day and evening, only sleeping in the room. Our morning tour was meeting before start of breakfast one morning so we requested breakfast boxes the evening before and they were ready for us at 6am. Breakfast the next day was plentiful and very good, with hot and cold choices. The afternoon of our check in I received a text to see if everything was satisfactory, and I had commented the a/c was not extremely cold, and by the time we returned, Cory said he’d had someone make adjustments to address it. Although we did not use them, the hotel has lots of beach gear that guests can borrow and use.
The minute we walked in, we were greeted with a nice drink. The amenities were above and beyond, the free breakfast, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrella makes this place a gem. The customers service was top notch. I do recommend the hotel invest in more comfy beds, they were a little too hard. Other than that, this place is a total chill and modern vibe.
Reasonably priced for being so close to the beach, room was small but comfy and had a good view, breakfast was solid hotel buffet fare, great restaurants and food stalls nearby, clean and stylish lounge/main floor. The staff were nice enough to mail my favorite shirt I accidentally left in a prompt manner. Will definitely consider this place next time I'm in Waikiki!

I was on a vacation to Hawaii and VIVE was a handy place to stay in Waikiki. Location is key, pretty close to all the attractions and the shopping malls. Neat and tidy rooms, pleasant and helpful staff. I would highly recommend it for a short trip. Good little spread for breakfast, no resort fee and fast wifi. I used trolleys and buses but they have parking available if renting a car. I did have a decent view from my room overlooking the beach. They also provide free beach gear which was very handy.
Drawbacks- noisy air con, shared kitchen and no laundry facilities (although staff were kind enough to point me to the nearest laundromat)
First time visitors to Hawaii. This hotel is in a great location as it's just a couple blocks from the main strip and the beach. Staff was very helpful. Decent breakfast included every morning. Hotel provided beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas.
Don't bother booking ocean view room as it's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Just use the hotel to be near the beach without paying beachfront prices.
We booked an ocean view room and it was on 14th floor. The room was 222 square feet. For two people it's was awful. We upgraded the rest of the stay to a non ocean view junior sweet for $30 extra night and it was double the size with king bed. Very nice and quiet. Ask for room 2101 and you will not regret it!
The hotel is very nice and modern. Everything is new and in good condition. The location is very central close to everything. I stayed in the ocean view room for 6 nights. The view is very pretty, and you can see Friday night fireworks from my bedroo
This hotel is a great place to stay while staying in Hawaii. I haven't had a bad experience while staying here.
The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you with any questions. The rooms are perfect size for a vacation and updated for t

Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout

I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
