Visited for happy hour, which is served 7 days a week between 4p-6p. Overall, it's very good. Service was fantastic and attentive. Drinks took a bit long to receive, but once we got them, they were delicious! Had the deviled eggs, crab dip, halibut and chips, calamari, and the clams. In all honesty, I wouldn't order the calamari or the clams again. The calamari was decent, but nothing special, and the clams were quite sandy. Every third or fourth one, you'd get that loud and uncomfortable CRUNCH sound between your teeth. It's not super appetizing. We mentioned it to our server. She was apologetic and was happy to remove the charge from the bill. We'd definitely go back for another visit, especially for the cocktails and other happy hour appetizers we tried.
I’ve been to Vista multiple times and my last experience Jan.26 was excellent as always! Two of us had the shrimp scampi which is cooked table side by Andy and our server was Brian… third person had seared Halibut … She was very impressed. Service was impeccable and always friendly. Food is phenomenal! Highly recommend!!
The James Beard slider is phenomenal! Service is inconsistent but there’s the petite server in the bar helping, she is quite genuine and pleasant, overshadowed the inconsistencies. The 42 oz Australian Tomahawk Wagyu was barely alright! Cocktails were great, though! Caesar salad is phenomenal, as well. It’s the real Caesar salad meaning, it has anchovies! Love it!

We had the most wonderful time celebrating a birthday at Vista! The tableside Caesar and Prawn Scampi created by Ahdy were simply amazing, and the Australian Wagyu steak my husband had was cooked to perfection. Our server, Hunter helped make this an unforgettable evening, and we've already made our reservation to celebrate Valentine's!
Great steakhouse with a fantastic view! We didn't try any of the steaks this time but mainly came for the view. It was a nice and sunny Friday when we went and we asked to be seated at the patio. Steakhouse opens at 4pm but only for happy hour, actual dinner service and patio seating opens at 5pm. The view is unbeatable and service was fantastic! We tried one of their appetizers, a shrimp scampi, and their cheesecake and baked alaska desserts. The grilled octopus appetizer we ordered seemed a bit overdone / tough and we weren't a fan. I also wasn't a big fan of the baked Alaska since they use lit alcohol pour over to get the toasted merengue (I was expecting oven baked, and I don't like the taste of alcohol) but my dad enjoyed it, and the overall presentation and service was fantastic. Would love to go again and try more of their menu items!
This dinner experience was like no other that we have ever had! First time trying bone marrow, and we get the hype around it now! So delicious. The service was AMAZING as well, and to top it off, we got to see the sunset with the most beautiful view. Best BDay dinner ever. HIGHLY recommend.
This may have been the best dining experience I have ever had. From start to finish, it was fantastic. Our group of 3 had Caesar salad prepared table side, the wood fired octopus, one of the tomahawk steaks and the 23 layer mexican chocolate cake. We didn't have to ask for a single thing. Our water glasses were always filled, fresh knives were swapped out without our noticing, dessert forks were chilled... it may have been one of the most expensive dinners we've had but it was definitely the best.
