Had a good meal here. We got the samosa chatt, chilli crab masala, shrimp malai curry, and murgh Tikka masala. All the food was excellent except for the shrimp curry. The shrimp curry appeared to use frozen or low quality shrimp and lacked flavor. The masala chai was good but coffee lacked the masala flavor.

This place is fire🔥, literally the best Indian food I had for a long time and I’ve traveled to India. Me and my husband were impressed by the flavors they were perfect, the service there is above and beyond. If I could give this place more the 5 I would!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much for a wonderful experience !

Absolutely loved every element of this place - the food, the service and the ambience. Everything is on point. We got the hara bhara kebab, farzi butter chicken and garlic naan. The hara bhara kebab has such beautiful flavors. The soya pieces in the farzi butter chicken are cooked to perfection. The garlic naan is so flaky and flavorful at the same time. Exactly like the ones you would get in India. Even the complimentary rice that comes with entree is so so flavorful. The cocktails are delicious too. We got the pineapple and paan ones. This was the fine dining place we were looking for from so long. I highly recommend this place to dine in, you won’t leave dissatisfied.

This place brings the Indian cuisine with a hint of spices from the world. The food is exotic and exquisite and one of the most delicious Indian food, I have had in DC. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. The service is prompt with amazing food presentation. I started with saffron sour for drink, followed up with the amazing samosa chaat, cottage cheese fritters, dal makhni, asian rice, indian bread and kulfi falooda for desert.

Food was perfectly cooked and just the right temperature - both in heat and spice. Service was lovely, and our server made good recommendations based on what we said we liked. The atmosphere was great - calm and good lighting. The pictures are intentionally missing people, but there were other people here tonight, Sunday night.

What a special place. The food is fresh and light. Not oily or overwrought. I had the vegetarian butter chicken, which was bright and flavorful. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Highly recommend. They grind their own spices and the owner was there the night that my wife and I dined. He shared with us his love of food and I tried his favorite cocktail, which was delicious.

Had a lovely time at Virraaj. We got a variety of dishes including Rose Lemonade, Dahi Chaat, Chicken Soup, Hariyali Chicken, Butter Chicken, Goat Curry, Tadka Dhal and Kulfi Ice Cream. All dishes were awesome. The food, service, ambiance and staff were spectacular!

SO GOOD! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and everyone was so sweet and friendly. The owner even came over to us and suggested some of the best dishes for us to try and they were amazing. Everything from the decor to the menu and names of the dishes were thoughtful and intentional. The atmosphere was wonderful along with the food and they had soft Bollywood music playing to set the tone. Definitely recommend and will be going here again! Thank you for such a lovely night!
