It was our 36 wedding anniversary and I originally booked the cheapest room, moved in and discovered it was too small, no mini fridge and kinda dark and gloomy. We asked the beautifully amazing lady at the front desk for an upgrade and she gave us a riverside view upgrade for "free" and said "Happy anniversary"! It was great, much bigger and brighter with a mini fridge! Highly recommend this place!
We only stayed for 1 night before hiking the Maple Pass trail in NCNP. I like the location near the downtown area; we got a room on the second floor with a nice river view in the back. We did not see anyone at the front desk, just pick up and drop off the key in the envelope since we arrived late and left early. Great value$
Nestled conveniently close to town attractions, our stay at this cozy retreat was delightful. The room exuded cleanliness, boasting a fully stocked bathroom. The room was quiet at night. There’s plenty of hot water with great pressure. The retro-style decor lent a unique charm to the ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would return for another tranquil getaway.
We have stayed at several properties over the years in Winthrop area and by far this was the best and most affordable option. A year ago we decided to try something different and stayed somehere else that was double the price and not as cozy as we found this hotel to be. We ABSOLUTELY loved the cabin feel and we didn't even stay in a cabin. We had river view here also and it was amazing to sit out in the morning with your cup of coffee just enjoying the moment. We are coming back to Winthrop next month and booking this place again for sure. My only complain was that the mattress and the pillows needed an upgrade- the mattress kept sinking in. Otherwise we loved this place. Oh and they also offer complimantary breakfast as well. In our book you cannot beat the price the location and the quality of this place.
Nice little place with walkable places to get food. Check-in was easy, workers pleasant. The only problem was the a/c unit that kept switching on and off to wake me up and not enough lighting in the room.
Wood is tops here! Cabin like interiors and exteriors. Has a real Western feel to it. Bedding and towels were very clean and so were all the surfaces. We found this to be a quite place, with outdoor seating and view of the river. WiFi available and very easy to connect to.
Great stay near North Cascades National Park. The rooms are cozy with rustic license plate decor. The beds are comfortable. The patio overlooks a river. A nice place to sit back and relax.
This is my favorite place to stay in Winthrop!!! The cabins are so cute and accommodating, located conveniently by a gas station and grocery store. Within a short walking distance to East 20 Pizza (Best pizza ever) . The girl who works the front desk is incredibly kind and helpful, she always has a smile on and is ready to help. This place is a 10/10 for sure!!!
