Excellent pizza and interesting combinations available. Staff was great. Sadly there is no dine in option- but, packaged well and provided eating utensils to go.

NY style is our fave from Virgils. Thin and slightly crispy, even after taking it to-go enclosed in the box, it doesn’t get soft or soggy, they’ve got it down to a science here. Sauce is nicely done. Crust is perfection. They have vegan non-dairy cheese and they make the best pizza in town. SO DELISH. 🍕 😋

I've been told by friends that the pizza here is great, so I figured I'd try it out. They were correct! This is some good pizza! We tried 4 types, the Maggio, buffalo chicken, regular cheese and pep, and the Sicilian extra cheese extra pep. All 4 were amazing. The crust on the Sicilian is nice and thick vs the regular pizza. A bit On the expensive side, but well worth it in my opinion. I will definitely keep getting my pizza here.

Had a NY style pep and mushroom and a maggio tonight. Virgil’s just keeps getting better. It was incredible the day it opened but ten years later it’s just jaw droppingly good pizza. The attention to detail on the dough and sauce is particularly incredible. It becomes clear very quickly that no corners are cut and this pizza isn’t like anything else you can find in Erie. Nothing in Erie comes close to this

Hands down best pizza in Erie. We always get the square slices and they never miss. Margherita is absolutely fantastic. Has a great artisan flavor to it. Chicken Bacon Ranch may be ever better: Exquisite slice. We’ve also had the buff chick square and the jalapeño ball, both also fantastic. Overall, amazing food and very friendly, hardworking staff.

Stop by to pick up a pizza. We wanted to try a different place and support a local business. The service was average. We were encouraged to call ahead. The pizza was decent but we really did not care for the sauce which was bland and could have used more basil and oregano. The price was higher than most other pizza places for the size A large sausage pizza was $18.00. Not really a place we will frequent as it was not to our taste, but all in all it would fall into an average experience not an outstanding pizza we were hoping for.

Stopped here for lunch today, it was wonderful. I ordered a 4 cut ~ bacon, mushroom and ricotta cheese. I was nervous, because it was the first time that I had ever had ricotta cheese on pizza and it was brilliant! I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner! Next time I visit Erie this is will be a definite stop. Thank you to the the owners Gary and Erin for a very positive experience in your restaurant!
