Stopped here for a stop on a bar crawl and after a pelicans game. Both times were fun! The crowd has been fun and enjoyable, and the music is a blast from the past. They play all the top rock hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It can be a bit loud on the dance floor, so I recommend ear plugs if you want to dance all night. Staff was great to us, and we’ve talked up the spot. Would recommend!

Great concept but the music is terrible and makes no sense. Either stick to the theme and play vintage rock or play stuff that appeals to the crowd there.

This was a great experience it was awesome to be able to dress up and listen to the awesome music that they played. The food was really good they had a nice buffet. The drinks were great as well. And they offered water as well. The bathrooms were named Yoko and Ono. The bathrooms had full length mirrors and we're plenty spacious. Everything was definitely '80s decor. The huge screen with the music videos was awesome. They played music videos, parts of movies, parts of TV shows and commercials from the 80s.

Absolutely love this place! The drinks are reasonably priced. There is always a fun crowd with our without costumes of all kinds, casually, or formerly dressed. Their VIP sections are also very reasonably priced. They always have awesome music, with music videos streaming on all their screens. Fun times for everyone!

The manager and bouncers were terrible. Unnecessarily aggressive and harassed myself & my husband. We were there for a small 80’s HS class reunion. We will never go back and discourage anyone else from going. After the traumatic experience at the Vintage Rock Club we returned to the Hotel Monteleone where we enjoyed a fabulous jazz group, fantastic customer service and a lovely stay in our suite. So, happy we didn’t let the horrible experience at this club ruin our time in NOLA.

Don’t waste your time coming here.. very unprofessional. Do NOT waste the money on the “VIP” section. We were in the VIP section closest to the big screen, people kept dancing in our section because the ropes were never put up and the only thing the bouncer (his name was Matthew) worried about was that two girls in our section that were SITTING on the couch kept their shoes on and was VERY rude and aggressive multiple times in our faces during our night about that. We came here to have fun for our friends birthday and she left crying due to the way we were spoken to and treated. There are plenty of other bars that would LOVE to have our business. Will not return and do not recommend to others!!

A unique spot, that is easy to miss. On this occasion we had come straight from a wedding so we were throughly overdressed. The vibe in this place is good. With loud old school rock music, video screens and lighting really setting the scene. Overall it was a good time. So why the 2 stars? Well the problem is they stole from me. Not money or anything or intrinsic value, but they stole my nonetheless. Like I said we're had just come from a wedding and at that wedding we were given light up items, boa's etc. One such item was a light up tambourine, a really cool item to bring back to our kid. Alas after being at Vintage Rock Club for 30 minutes or so a man I assume was a bouncer grabbed my arm and told me I needed to remove the tambourine (it was around my wrist), I asked him why, he said I was not allowed to have it, I asked him why, he created himself, I asked if I could just put it in my pocket, he repeated himself again. Not wanted trouble, or to ruin your the night I removed it because this is guy seemed on edge and never looked me in the eye. He took it and placed it on behind the bar. After a feeling minutes I asked a bartender if I could get it back and put it in my pocket, no harm no foul. She was uneasy at that request as she didn't want to upset "security" but she said she would give to me when we left. Fast forward about another 30 minutes and the tambourine was gone, the bartender looked for it but it was gone. It's a minor gripe, sure, it's just a small item, but the principal of the matter is at play here. A man treated me like a child, didn't use reason or commonsense it even explain himself. He took something from me because he could. I don't go downtown a lot, and beside this experience with this hollowman I actually had a good time.

The atmosphere here is great. Good throwback music and dance floor. The only problem with this place is the drinks. The drinks are too expensive and they barely put any alcohol in them. I'm not sure if the bartenders are just unexperienced or if management tells them to do this. One of them made vodka waters that were about 99% water. When we went back to ask for an extra shot of vodka to be put in he told us that it would be $8. Make sure you pregame before.
