Vintage Ballroom & Suites was a terrific place to stay! It was like staying in an elegant bed & breakfast, minus the breakfast. The rooms were comparably priced to hotels in the area, making it a great value, as well. The rooms were beautifully appointed in a French Country theme, with flowers and tapestries on the walls, a spacious kitchen and even quality shampoo! The beds were comfortable; the rooms were quiet. Service was great - the owners were considerate and accessible. We had a very comfortable stay - each teen got their own bed; and ours was on the other side of the apt, so we had all the privacy and comfort we desired. Our business was in Northfield, at St Olaf, but the drive was an easy 30 minutes, so staying out of town was worthwhile. ||||I only wish I had a wedding to plan, and lived nearby, so we could take advantage of all they had to offer! We can't recommend this highly enough!

Had a great time here! The rooms are huge and spacious. Has all the amenities. Its in a great area right in downtown, so there's lots to do. Janna is a great hostess who knows her stuff and even owns a wonderful restaurant downstairs! I had to unfortunately leave after one night because I had buisness in the cities, wish I could have stayed.

To start, Jana is the BEST. She made our wedding so easy to plan! From the decorations, table settings, lighting, food, and everything else - all in house - was a great experience. It couldn't have been any easier or a better experience for our big day. The food was delicious and the bar was very reasonably priced for our guests. We even managed to go way under budget thanks to Jana and her making some menu changes and being careful about sourcing various things in/out of season. Our immediate family rented out the suites on the second floor and we really enjoyed having all of that space close by to the reception - those were very spacious and cozy. Thank you for a very successful event and for making everything work perfectly!

We wanted to stay in a place with a full kitchen and centrally located to Southern MN parks and trails. So glad we found the Vintage! The Family Suite was large and comfortable and working with Janna was excellent. We had made a scheduling mistake and she was wonderfully accomodating for us. The Vintage is right in the old downtown section of Faribault. A lot of little shops, and many restaurants within walking distance. Bernie's on the first floor is a great diner. Great way to start your day. There's also a local bike trail that you can catch just down the block. Unfortunately for us it was underwater due to historic rainfall. If you're looking for a nice getaway where you can relax and cook your own meals if you want to this is the place. Two caveats: There is a ballroom on the third floor, so if it's a Saturday there may be a wedding reception - you'll hear it. There is a balcony that appears to be shared by at least two of the rooms. I would recommend the vintage to anyone.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in Faribault over the holidays, and we couldn't have been happier that we picked Vintage Suites. From the moment we called from the airport, late flight, to make arrangements to get the key from Jana, we felt like we were coming home. The suite, which is bigger than most apartments, had full living room, dining room, and fully stocked kitchen dividing the two bedrooms on either side of the suite. It was just the two of us, but it would have been very private to have a 2nd couple stay there because each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The bed in the master was very comfortable. The suite was very quiet and the furniture comfortable. We had guest dine with us several times while we were there at the large wood dining table that seats six. 5 min. off I35 made our travel plans to and from the cities very easy. Elevator up from the back entrance made it very private, we didn't hear or see another guest while we stayed there. We needed a couple of small things for the kitchen one morning so we went down to ask Jana where we would be able to buy them in town. She said "nonsense, you can use what I have here in my kitchen, you are part of the family now".....and that is what we felt like.||Best units, Best prices, and by far the Best people.||One more thing, best breakfast in town at Bernie's on the ground floor.

Visited for Niece's wedding..So impressed with all the building had to offer! Bernie's Bar and Grill on street level was top notch. Bed and Breakfast type fully furnished suites on 2nd floor were outstanding! Ballroom on 3rd floor perfectly suited for wedding reception! Downtown Faribault is quaint with a great variety of shops and nightlife.

We needed a one night accommodation in Faribault and Vintage Ballroom fit the bill. Our Honeymoon Suite was spacious, immaculate and the carpet was literally brand new. The balcony overlooks downtown Faribault and we were charmed by the Tilt a Whirl memorial across the street. The owners are lovely and also juggle the restaurant downstairs and the gift shop across the street.

This place was amazing. The Suites were beautiful. We were looking for a mini break and this was perfectly nestled between all of our destinations. The Owner and Staff treated us like we were family. To me, these are the best places to stay. We will find ourselves planning trips just to stay here again. Very Highly Recommended.
