We had to stay here last minute due to car troubles during a cross-city move. The circumstances that brought us there weren’t the greatest, but the experience overall was VERY welcoming. The service and accommodation at the inn we received were wonderful. The rooms had a nice medieval feel, there’s free WiFi, and they’re also pet friendly which came in handy for us with our three fur babies. We tried out the restaurant and had the ribeye dinner and hands down the steak was better than any steakhouse dinner I’ve had. The broccoli tasted really fresh, the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious and their knicker dropper wine was chefs kiss. Would most definitely visit again under better circumstances.

Haunted Medieval atmosphere,to say the least.... nevertheless a very enjoyable place, great food,of course & wonderful Staff. I also know they usually have rooms available,if you desire to stay the night, instead of just passing through on a daily business trip .Very historical place, visit soon....

I was traveling for work and found this gem. Easy to stay at, it's kind of a romantic type place so weekends are pretty booked up, at least when I stayed. Giant room, super clean and old school (real hot water, and a thermostat that actually does something, and a tub

Beautiful place and location, great menu, and the owner was lovely and gracious. I ordered beef medallions and shrimp but my beef "medallions" was actually ONE medallion and unfortunately the shrimp was not smelling too fresh. The meal (sans shrimp, which I did not eat) was delicious but not what I was expecting. Also, the server did not warn me that what I thought was a plate with a handle was actually a piping hot skillet that I touched and got first degree burns on 3 of my fingers. Accidents happen and I wasn't angry, but she really should've mentioned that the skillet was hot before it was put on the table; she mentioned that she normally does this and she did apologize. The owner apologized profusely and gave me an ice bag to go, which was much appreciated for the hour-long ride home. The 3 stars for Service would've been 1 or 2 but for the accommodation of the owner. She was absolutely wonderful and will be the reason I come back.

We celebrated my birthday here with the overnight package. Wine tasting with Rob was very informative and entertaining. Dinner was fabulous with Jeanie, our server who was a delight. Quality food and ample portions. The one downside was the bed in our room! Lumpy, very squeaky and downright uncomfortable! There were holes in the sheets! The beds need upgrading! I would return for dinner but not stay overnight!!

Charming, rustic, but very basic rooms in an Irish style Inn with a great restaurant... very good food, gracious servers, very reasonably priced. There is a package price including room, dinner discount, wine tasting, and a bottle of wine that makes for a nice country get-away. Do not expect luxury accomodations, just simple pleasures. Enjoy the grounds. Recommended.

I'm giving this four-stars because the owner was so nice and accommodating and the room is large and attractive in a cool, vintage - almost British appearance. I love the three long mullioned windows. The toiletries they have there are also very nice. || I have to give the bedding three-stars for the comfort, which was too firm for my comfort. It wasn't lumpy, but just firm. A foam topper would make a world of difference.|| The price was good (total $90 on weeknight) and there are very few places to stay in that area. It was nice to wander around the wooded grounds and see the vineyard.|| It is more "motel-like," in that you park right outside your room. It is mainly one-floor, except for what looks like one room on a second floor.
