This is the first time that I was at the villager yesterday and my parents are in town so we decided to find some local restaurant to go to to find something quick to eat the hostess and our waitress were amazing no issues they’re asking us if we like the food When we ordered ordering was fine when we got the food it was extremely salty. My mom got a patty melt that had American cheese on it with patty melts are supposed to have Swiss. I got my food, which was the French dip. It was supposed to be open face that came to me closed and there was barely any meat on my sandwich. Most of it was bread and on top of that it was extremely salty. my partner got a chicken melt that was supposed to come with ranch didn’t even come with ranch and basically was just a chicken tender side between two basic pieces of bread again super small portion for the price that it was it was like $15 and everything was just covered in grease. I mean everything to the plate to the food to the cups we were using. It was disgusting and don’t even account for the inside of the place. Looks like it’s falling apart. You have a modern wall with tables from the 80s that doesn’t mix and lights from a diner from the 50s. I don’t know what that is. This place needs a good spruce up better cooks and not such greasy food. Because we were all literally sick after we left.

I normally am not the type to write reviews. However, this experience was terrible all around. First off, no menu when we were told to seat ourselves. The menu we did receive came right off another table. Kinda gross in my opinion. But not a dealbreaker. We received coffee & had to wait on juice we asked for but didn’t seem to have noticed so had to mention it . Not only that I had no silverware to even stir my coffee until I told NEW owner of the issue . He quickly grab silverware. Only to realize that the fork wasn’t even clean. On to the meal. Grabbing our order was very quick & felt rushed. When we received the food, the eggs was already way underdone. We asked for over medium & barely received over easy. They were clearly not done. Nor even close to over medium. They tried to fix the mistake but still sent out another order NOT EVEN DONE. We both got the log cabin breakfast. My pancakes after eating half we noticed the other side wasn’t even done which made me not even want to eat the rest of my food. I asked for a manager or owner. Server took part of the meal off but I still wished to talked to the owner. He never came out. Wouldn’t recommend, I came here back when the old owners owned this . Wasn’t something to run home about but service & food were alright. Old owners clearly missed here. We were socializing with another table in which they all agreed the same. Not to mention too , I received my bill before even getting my food which seemed a bit rude.

Went for late breakfast on a Sunday. We have been to the Villager several times over the last 15 years. It used to be a good spot for breakfast. They were not busy, but when we walked in the hostess was scrolling on her phone and never looked up to see us waiting to be seated. The other waitress noticed and tried to get her attention while she was taking a table’s order. She finally got her attention and we were able to sit. The menu has changed and the prices seem a bit high compared to other diners. My son and I both ordered omelettes. The omelettes tasted decent. I got hash browns that turned out to be like the ones you get at McDonald’s with a heavy amount of oil coming off of them. When I got to my toast, there was a huge amount of butter in between and when I separated the pieces there was a thick, black hair sitting in it. I stopped eating and we went to pay the bill. I told our waitress about the hair and she deducted the $2.50 for the toast without me asking. She was very nice and I wish she had a nicer restaurant to work in. She deserves better. We won’t be going back.

We are new to the area and came in for Sunday breakfast. Our waitress was amazing - friendly, charming, and attentive - our coffee cups were never even half empty before she offered more. The food was good - we had the Workman's breakfast. Excellent home fries.

What a find. This gives me a great diner experience. Quiet, good wholesome food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and excellent friendly service. I am a small town guy, and this is just a great diner experience. I had the Western Omelette.

Stopped in for lunch because I love a good diner. Ordered the tuna melt it was very fishy, the fries were delicious and really crispy. My husband got the 3d turkey club and loved it. The bathroom could use a good clean and the ac vent right by our table as dripping water on the floor. Disappointed, wouldn’t stop again.
