Village Motor Lodge - Motel in Smithfield - 198 Mallard Rd, USA

It's pretty reasonably priced. Rooms not in perfect condition but are ok and meets the criteria for a reasonabovernight stay without paying an outrageous amount.

Rooms are roach infested,plumbing is backed up,they have bed bugs,and animal feces matted in the carpet!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

Room is infested with bedbugs,there were wires hanging out of the wall,room had a funny smell,broken window covered up with a dollar general bad,toilet seat broken

No problems. One night. Window AC cools nicely. TV good. Refrigerator didn't work. No big deal. Microwave. Hair dryer. Tub. Clean. Quiet. Big property if you want to take a stroll. Front desk help nice. Saw a pool but didn't check it out. Coffee and muffins.

Horrible and disgusting is the only words I can use to describe this hotel. Half of the toilet seat was missing, roaches, hair in the bed, trash still in the dresser and under the bed, fridge smelled like rotten milk, started getting bitten and had bugs crawling on us decided to check the bed and there’s was patches of small baby bed bugs in the mattress went up to the front desk and he said it was probably from us…and proceeded to ask us how long we had been there which was less then 3 days said it was because people are dirty and don’t take showers, the owner said he could spray the room I left for work by the time I got off from an 8 hour shift it had still not been done the white boy at the front when I asked if they had sprayed yet said he was waiting because someone else at the hotel had the spray(which is a spray you do yourself) 2 hours later he came and knocked said he was going to spray and told (me)to remove the sheets if I didn’t remove everything from the bed he would have just sprayed the blanket, he didn’t even check to see where they were and couldn’t even give us another room he just sprayed the bed randomly. You can tell they don’t take pride in actually cleaning the rooms the floor had not been swept and the bathroom not properly clean only thing they did was make the bed and I highly doubt the sheets were even changed..this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.. save your time and money and don’t even risk your health coming here.

Over our stay of about 3weeks so far (while we look for a decent home rental) we haven't had any issues. The rooms are okay, staff has been pretty decent for the most part. Quite a few long term guests who have been very nice 🙂 Pool is kept Veryy Clean, which is great, just wish the Pool hours were a little Better (not as short) Overall Soo far a decent place

Been coming here for over 20 years. Best get away in the area. Always cozy and quite.

I been there a while back,great place,ant new but I really enjoyed it too, I book my family a room when they visit,so ya know it's good.
