Tried their Polish Scramble with a German Potato Pancake. I had always loved Potato Latkes and wanted to see the difference in taste. The scramble was good, filling and came out very quick. Quicker than I expected since they were busy at the time came for early breakfast. The German Potato Pancake was good it had a different texture than the Latkes and overall I would give it another try when I go back.

One of the true North County Gems!! The food is comfort food and always great! The best is what they are truly known for..PIES!! ABSOLUTELY HEAVEN!! They even have a sugar free Banana Cream Pie which tastes like the original.

Asked Google where the best pie was near me. This was the closest and it was excellent. Four of us had dessert. The three pieces of pie that were ordered were all very good. I was full so I took my pecan roll to go. It was fantastic. Big enough for dessert later and breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. May have to try their food someday.

The chicken & waffle was fantastic! Every food was delicious, and we sat at the outdoor table, and the weather was good, so we enjoyed much! We would love to revisit.

Went for breakfast we were seated in the patio which was nice. Service was so so as they got busy with large tables but were friendly and did their best. I was disappointed in the taste of my omelet but the Banana nut bread was delicious

Our server was amazing. The pies were amazing. Our experience was amazing. Definitely a jewel of Carlsbad!

Food was good, omg'rd loved the corn bread, but you lost a star when my sweet tooth was denied on the cookies. They were hard, a little disappointing.

We found this gem as it was close to the hotel visitors were staying at. Went in to try a bakery style dinner and we pleasantly surprised. The baked goods are fantastic, from the cinnamon roll to the peach pie and everything in between. The food was spot on delicious, with a good serving size (maybe too much for some people). Prices were in line with the market value. And the service was outstanding. A smile in every person we interacted with. Be ready to wait for a bit to be seated, specially over the weekend, but definitely worth it. Highly recommended.
