Village Inn - Breakfast restaurant in Moorhead - 940 Holiday Dr, USA

We stopped in on a Saturday and although it was fairly busy we were able to get a table quick and with incredible service. Even though it was during the lunch rush, the restaurant was clean and the server was attentive and kind. It was one of the BEST restaurant experiences we’ve had. The food was amazing, I just wish they had more sweet breakfast options. They have a great seasonal menu along with great breakfast, lunch, and savory options though. We will be making Village Inn a weekly visit after our Saturday errands!

Fast and friendly service, good food. It is in a convenient location too. And it is surprisingly easy to access this restaurant from both east bound and west bound Interstate 94. It was the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before getting back on the road. It's nothing fancy, but it was exactly the kind of food I was hoping for.

Stopped in Friday for lunch. Kelsey was Our server and she did not disappoint. She was friendly and easy going from the start. She made suggestions but was in no way pushy. She was attentive but did not constantly interrupt our meal. She was fast with getting our food and drinks and she anticipated our needs without us having to ask for anything! A great multitasker! Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Will be back!

Customer service was excellent! Had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. Very good. Will eat here again!

I ate lunch here w/a church and family group of 10 on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of parking at a busy time, a cozy atmosphere w/ a small, friendly buzz. The highchair for our toddler felt a bit "sticky," but the service was on point and the seating was spacious and comfortable. The menu is smaller and more focused than other competing restaurants like Perkins or Denny's, but that's nice actually. Makes decisions easier. The children's menu was 👌🏼. I ordered a double cheeseburger 🍔 with seasoned fries 🍟 and AC extra side of coleslaw. Delicious and ample options 😋 Altogether, a solid choice for family dining. Looking forward to trying their breakfast 🥞 and pie 🥧 options sometime!

I have been to many restaurants in the 77 short years I’ve been alive. I have had my fair share of bad service as well as great service. But I have never been treated any better than I did by my server Kelcie today. I have been coming here for years with my husband, son and grandkids and have never had a bad experience, always great. But Kelcie had gone so far above and beyond our expectations today that I had to write my first review. You guys were super busy, she was training another young lady, and she was fantastic! I appreciate a server who makes sure that not one, but all of her customers are satisfied and acknowledged. And not even just hers, but everyone around! She handled our table of 4 adults and 2 children with a perfect display of relaxed competence. I don’t think there was a time that she didn’t make us smile. Phenomenal with children as well. I can only give so much praise. So go find out for yourself! Always Great food. Always great atmosphere, always great service. But today had been exceptional and you should all be proud. Will be back. Especially on Wednesdays for our Free Pie!

The waitress was nice, she had to play a few hats & the restaurant suffered from the solo waitress/hostess/busser. The steak was just a tad under cooked but edible & I wish the cook actually gave you gravy. Had to ask for a side of gravy & even that portion was extremely small. Restaurant & bathrooms were clean.

The hours at this place shorter now only open until 3 pm. I love the warm friendly service here. I had hot tea and now they serve it in smaller tea pot and water stays much hotter. I had a Reuben with fries. This place just so reliable and just a neighborhood favorite for me. I was in a hurry so unfortunately no time for pie guess I could have hot a slice to go maybe next time.
