Village Inn - Breakfast restaurant in Republic - 533 E Elm St, USA

Don't judge the place by its awful colors. It's pretty nice inside, and the food is good. Obviously, I'm not the only one who knows this. We had to wait to be seated. The sweet girl working our table tried to make up for it. The prices are good concerning the food, but little items like a cup of coffee (3.00) are high. Overall, it was a good experience. I'll be back.

I understand it was busy but I've been a cook and waitress and the waitress was def on top of the drinks at least my hubby's but when we finally got our order it was a joke it was clearly a 2 egg omelette I only make 3 egg there were hardly any hash browns they didn't have my hubby's toast he didn't get it til he was done eating. My food was served in a saucer 3 pancakes with no room for syrup and please people not everyone likes whip cream on everything. The waitress was very nice as was any of the wait staff just 25 bucks for that. 1 more egg would keep new customers such as us.were new to the area I doubt we'll go back . The food we got was ok. I'm not being mean just honest

My husband, mother in law, father in law and myself came here to eat lunch after we just had church for Easter Sunday and we couldn't have had a better waitress we had Ashely and she was phenomenal, she was charismatic, attentive on top of everything always made sure we had what we needed or if we needed something else how we enjoyed our food! The food was great the company was outstanding and the waitress was what made the experience the most memorable! She even went one step above and took pictures of us all without hesitation! I highly recommend this place to eat hands down for the exceptional service!

Tucker was an amazing server, she’s so timely and funny!! She was on point with every refill and made our dining experience worth it! It was a pleasure and I’d come again just to see her

Update- Well I returned to Village Inn, it wasn't good. Had the ultimate breakfast. The hashbrowns, bacon and sausage were ok. The ham was over a third fat, yuk! My eggs, ordered over medium, were way over cooked. The yokes were hard and dry. They also got my drink wrong, not a huge deal but with everything else... it all adds up. Breakfast is easy, I always say its hard to mess up breakfast. But some manage to do just that. (Photos attached) Original review- I hadn't been to Village Inn in a while. I'll be honest I haven't been a big fan. But I took a chance on them for breakfast and was very pleased. I hade the Ultimate scramble without the peppers, tomatoes and onions. It was great! It came with a couple pancakes and they were spot on. When my meal comes with the cakes I usually only eat a couple bites. I ate every bite. My brother had the same order with the veggies and liked it all too. The coffee was hot and fresh. The staff was super friendly. The place was very clean. Happy to have been proven wrong. I do recommend and would certainly return. Thank you.

Spot on breakfast food! THE place for breakfast in Republic. I had the supreme breakfast and it was. All food was piping hot and looks great. Multiple servers came to check on us and left the pot of coffee so I always had what I needed. Don’t forget the pie! You won’t be disappointed.

It was alright, the lady was really weird though and called us "babygirl" a couple times. We are all teens or adults so it was weird, she also assumed I was a girl. I'm a trans man and had a pretty obvious he/him pin so it made the full time uncomfortable, and made it hard to order. Other than that the food was good and it was a pretty okay experience

Nothing really mattered after we saw the managers long hair touching pie plates and the fresh new pies she was putting in the display. The lady that seated us, acted like it was an inconvenience seating our party of 10. The server was good and the food, well couldn’t get the thought of the woman’s hair possibly touching my food, out of my head.
