Village Inn - Breakfast restaurant in Brandon - 1995 W Lumsden Rd, USA

Highly recommend. We stopped for breakfast and the food was amazing. Our waitress was top notch staying on top of refills.

I made an online order and when I walked in to pick it up, Cathy didn’t greet me she just stared and had an attitude. After I said hello she said hi and when I explained that I made an online order, without even turning around to check she said it wasn’t up and to sit down. She found it more important to argue with another employee in front of all the customers. She never checked on my order. Customers that came in after me were met with a smile, “Good Morning”, an approximate time their food should be coming up. I never heard from her again. When I received my order, my bacon was burnt and my Hashbrowns looked like mush. Thank you Jamal for your prompt response to this matter. He made sure I got my food corrected and was friendly the entire time.

I have been here fewl times over the years, and it's mainly the same experience each time. It's basic food sometimes good, most times not. It's the same with the service, too. This time, I wanted breakfast for my lunch. The eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns came hot. However, the toast was cold and barely toasted. My waitress was a hit and miss during my time there.

A very solid and respectable local chain. They are best known for their pies and deservedly so: they are phenomenal! On had the Denver Omelette with no onions and a side of country gravy.....Soooo good! They graciously accommodated my substitutions. We went here for Thanksgiving brunch and it was not overly crowded. Staff is extremely friendly.

Tried for the first time today. Waited 45 minutes for our breakfast. I ordered cheese omelet and pumpkin pancakes and received scrambled eggs and plain pancakes that were OLD and hard. Had to then wait again for correct food. Hubs ordered potatoes and got grits instead. Once he received hi s correct order potatoes were cold and tasted days old. Positive thing was the pumpkin pancakes were yummy 😋 Server was nice and apologized but still.... Sadly we wont be back.

The food is always great, the staff are amazing and the prices are reasonable. I usually eat here every Sunday after church with my friends. We can have up to 14 people and they always accommodate us.

Love this place! If you order from the kid’s menu, kids eat free. I tried different skillet meals from their menu and so far my favorite option. Fast service. Clean environment. Definitely recommend this place!

Walked in at 8 pm Thursday 12/14/2023. The server was very rude. Made a comment about how we are lucky we didn’t walk in later than that. Refused to make us coffee because the coffee was shut down and seemed extremely frustrated we were there an hour before closing. We often enjoy going to village inn for coffee and pie or weekend breakfast with friends but we won’t be back. This person shouldn’t be in the service industry.
