I really wasn’t going to write this review. Honestly I couldn’t even take a shower, the water smelled horrible! Rust in the sins tub and toilet. It’s 80 degrees and I was sweating pretty much the whole time. There was the couch in front of air conditioner which did not help.! Bed spread was hard and uncomfortable. All the mirrors were dirty. Everytime I sat on the toilet it lifted up off the floor! Inside of the fridge was disgusting. I didn’t realize until I took out my coke and it was all sticky on the bottom I had to rinse it off with hot water. I do not recommend this place unless you cannot find a vacancy somewhere else.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I had stayed here 2 years ago and have been fighting with them ongoing since to get my $$ back. The are the grimiest, nastiest people you will ever encounter. I even had insurance added to my stay and they still didn't do anything for me. I ended up not staying a single day for my week reservation. Everything was beyond disgusting. There was blood on the cracked bathroom mirror, doors were hanging from their hinges. I had tried to clean up the floor because it was so gross with their towels and the entire towel ended up going black. I was about to go to Target to get cleaning supplies until I decided to just drop the keys off and go somewhere else. I even hung up towels on the mirror because I was very convinced they were two way mirrors. They have drug addicts stay here and they all hangout on chairs outside their rooms. Its a very eerie environment. They tried to withhold my money from me and were trying to tell me at most I would get back only 50% per their policy, I was fighting for a year for all of it back until I let up and started just asking for the 50% back WHICH THEY STILL HAVE REFUSED TO GIVE ME. They had tried to send me a picture one time over text of a receipt issuing a refund and the idiots left the card # in the picture it was distributed to (which was not my card). They tried to make me think they refunded me with this scheme. Every time I go there they say that the owner is out of the country and to come back in 6 months (which I do) and they give me a different type of excuse every time. These are the raunchiest excuses for human beings running this place and inhabiting it. I am out $500/600 for absolutely no reason other than their false advertising display of their rooms. How this place hasn't been shut down for health concerns is beyond me, this place is a living, breathing biohazard. I have so many pictures I took that I will be adding to the review once I dig them up again
The pictures on the internet are false. Absolute false advertising it is a Disgusting motel! I read another review that said it looks like a place that charges by the hour! How true, 😵💫🤧🤒🤮🤢😵🤯 At least room 202 I know it's horrible! I wish I could post pictures here. I have some that would make you puke 🤮 bathroom was disgusting! Toilet had a brown stain bottom along with the sink? It's a straight rip-off! All they want is your money. They don't care at all about the conditions! I had actual holes in my Sheets, and the disgusting bed cover with stains! I wish I had bought a tent and a sleeping bag and slept in the nearby woods. I would have been much more comfortable!!
Do not stay here. Rooms are disgusting. Duct tape on door, which made it hard to open. Every sheet, pillowcase, towel, bed coverings were all stained. No coffee maker in room, not even a plastic cup to take medication.
My recent stay at The Village Inn in Colts Neck, following a fantastic concert at PNC Bank Arts Center, turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience.||||The room, while not lavish, boasted unexpected perks. The spaciousness caught me off guard – it wasn't your typical cramped motel space. The sofa was a pleasant surprise, providing a cozy spot to unwind after the night's festivities. It's those little touches that make a stay memorable.||||Speaking of comfort, the beds lived up to the promise of a good night's sleep. The simplicity of the room was its charm, and everything was neatly arranged. The convenience of having a decent-sized room made it feel less like a pit stop and more like a comfortable retreat.||||Another standout feature was the parking situation. Convenience is key, and The Village Inn delivered. Ample parking space meant no stress over finding a spot after returning from the concert. That may not sound like a big deal, but after a night of music, a hassle-free parking experience was a welcome bonus.||||The proximity to PNC Bank Arts Center remained a major selling point. The short distance meant a quick return after the concert, avoiding the headache of post-event traffic. It made the whole overnight stay a breeze, especially when you just want to kick back and relax without the worry of a lengthy journey home.||||In conclusion, The Village Inn, with its unexpectedly spacious rooms, comfy sofa, and hassle-free parking, proved to be more than just a practical stopover. It added a touch of comfort and ease to the post-concert experience, making it a spot worth considering for those seeking a convenient and comfortable stay.
This inn needs some TLC. It's rundown and not clean. I've been there years ago,and thought they would have upgraded a bit, but nothing has changed.
Had a great stay here. The room was very clean compared to other places I've been and the staff was very attentive. It was easy to check in and the stay was peaceful in a nice quiet area. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone else if they are in the area.
Decent place, was almost scared off by other reviews. Our room was decently cleaned, no sign of any bug activity (we searched! because of one reviewer). We were looking for a decent place to spend a night between concerts at PNC and this was just fine. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
I've taken my sons here a few times. Each time we have found at least one thing interesting. We have found a squid pen and vertabrea. It's a good activity to do on a hot day, since the stream is shaded and the water is refreshing to walk in.
I recently visited this deli, and it exceeded all my expectations. The variety of fresh, high-quality meats and cheeses was impressive. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. The sandwiches were deliciously crafted, with generous portion
I am so happy to have this space in my hometown! We visited this gem when we came home from Utah for the holidays. It was a pleasure visiting and being able to interact with Ben at the bar and Bella and Jenna who helped make our corn-hole dreams com
Coffee is the best especially the cold brew. The staff are all wonderful! They are super knowledgeable about the coffee and have never steered me wrong!
I came here today for the first time after my annual apple picking excursion at a nearby orchard. The food and service was great. My Bloody Mary with Tito's Vodka really hit the spot. My waitress Cate was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant i
We had my Sister's Bridal Shower here in September. JP is amazing! He made sure everything was perfect and made it a very memorable experience! The food was delicious and the service was incredible! If you're looking to hold your event, this is the p
