A really fun stop on our bar hopping adventure around Cocoa village. Here I tried one of their stouts. I really enjoyed it! They have a lot of games and things like darts. A friendly crowd, music that appealed to me as a millennial, and funny decor. A great spot.
So comfortable! Gather with friends like you're in your own home. Comfortable seating! Amazing drink choices and affordable! The best in entertainment. The owner is customer oriented! Great place to have a party! Plenty of room! Can't say enough good about the Village Idiot!
All I can say is WOW. I'm a bit of a tough critic and this place is awesome. The bar tender was incredible. The selection is great. Within a few tasters, she made suggestions that were spot on on mixing beers together that I never would have thought. Atmosphere wise, lots of bar games to play for free.
To top it off, they give you beer in plastic cup so you can walk around the little downtown area. Truly awesome.
Small food menu, but great hot-boi grilled cheese is always plenty for me. TONS of great beer on tap, and holy variety, they seem to have an endless list of options. SUPER DOG FRIENDLY too, which I love. Stop in for a pint, and hopefully you'll love it just as much as I do. Super chill, relaxing bar, and great entertainment when they have bands in to play. Always a good time to be had.
A bit too refined to be a dive bar, but give it a few years. I love this place. Awesome rotating taps + cold cans, and everyone is a local. Indoor and (new and improved) outdoor seating. Great bartenders. A must-stop while visiting, eating, shopping, and/or bar-hopping in historic Cocoa Village!
An excellent, stylish pub, beautifully located close to the river with a great, ever changing selection of good quality beers. Their Tuesday night jam sessions are fantastic and the house band are exceptionally talented musicians.
Folks, treat yourselves, don't cheat yourselves! This is our go-to when we actually just want a peaceful, relaxing, "putlifeonholdforamoment", and breathe....🤓
She's rather partial to the Stiegl, which has wondrous grapefruit notes, and I'm a big fan of hoppy, bitter beers, such as their G13, both insanely cold and on tap!
This isn't your typical "grab a beer before this or that". There is entertainment value for everyone, whether you're into darts, Connect 4, and assorted board games (Yes, that's correct), if you're so inclined.
(PS if you want to donate a boardgame or two, I'm sure they won't complain! 🤓)
There is a lounge area for larger parties to get together and sample the various on-tap options, while relaxing and sharing one of the best charcuterie boards in town.
If you're into 'people watching', pictured below is the window seating arrangement where you can wrap yourself around a cold beer or glass of wine, and watch folks as they walk by. Quite often, there are functions and activities going on at the park, and for people like me, there's always opportunity to watch the muscle cars and trucks go by while sipping the suds!
More often than not, we'll grab our individual favorites and sit outside... In the parking lot... In the rocking chairs. If you're dodging the age bit, there are also picnic tables...! 🤣
Team Village Idiot, you guys are awesome, and we look forward to hanging with you again!!
Great atmosphere. Board games and darts. A good selection of beers on draft and very limited food menu. We tried flight of beers, the beer pretzel and a charcuterie board. The beers were ok, the pretzel was great with tasty cheese and spicy mustard. The charcuterie board was tasty but a bit overpriced for what you get.

Excellent local spot impressively, curated, wine selection. Initially, I thought the large selection of orange wines involved the fruit somehow, but our waiter explains that it is still a well-known grape wine, but the name simply comes from the colo
I love a good Irish pub and am so beyond happy my mom & I decided to stop in for the Tuesday fish + chips special!!! Outstanding authentic pub atmosphere. Our server, Kaliyah, heightened our dining experience. She was super kind and attentive, and ma
Heard about them and had to give them a try. First off the people are so nice and welcoming. Tried some new things they suggested and was blown away by the flavors. So much food at a great price and a ton of drinks and sodas I have never seen before.
