Great spot, had the Greek omelet and home fries, wife had western omelet, both cooked perfectly and have enough left for breakfast the next day, place was very busy but got right in and had great service as well.
Oh my goodness this place is perfect! They have a little of everything, our sweet waitress was the best and we were lucky to get her two days in a row! Mimosas, bloody Mary's, biscuits and gravy, omelets, perfect bacon, fluffy eggs, Siesta oatmeal, it was ALL fabulous. We had zero complaints.
We were looking for a pit stop to fill our belly before heading to the beach and we’re surprised to find this little home cooked style gem. We had boom boom grouper and pastrami smoked salmon which were both great. The service was good and the waitress even offered drinks to go before we asked.
Update - Jan. 2024: Back for a stay on Siesta Key and brought a family member in for breakfast at Village Cafe - being it was his birthday, they served his cinnamon roll with a candle on it - a very nice touch! And all four of us had another deliciuos breakfast with the best service!
Jan. 2023: This was our first time at Village Cafe, located about 3 miles from where we are visiting. The service and our breakfasts were all excellent - we will definitely be returning with additional family! And I'm going to mention it to some friends of ours that are also visiting the area and that they will surely like dining there too! Note: Parking may be a bit of a challenge at times as the Village Cafe is in the Siesta Key Village area.
I came with my family for the first time and everything was just amazing from Egg Benedict’s that were just delicious to the amazing service that Rose wave us, she went above and beyond to assure that me and my family had a great experience on our vacation. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK SOON.
Tried this place last week and it was a great find. Saw two officers eating inside and figured it must be good. We liked it so much we came back a second time. Able to get breakfast at lunch time which is a plus for us. No waiting for seats outside, staff was friendly and didn't make us feel rushed as they do close at 2pm. They serve breakfast and lunch only. Food was made to order and spot on. Would definitely recommend if you like breakfast for lunch.
Would like to try Cinnamon Roll French Toast on next visit.
Scott, thank you for making my morning a special one. I came to Siesta Key to get away from the Hurricane damage that still lingers on Sanibel. Siesta Key was a refreshing sight; clean beaches, friendly faces in restaurants, and more importantly, a grilled biscuit! I came by myself but meet a few friends at the neighboring tables; the outside seating was perfect for me! The outdoor seating is pet friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! Scott made some wonderful suggestions on where to shop and catch some rays. THANK YOU!
We’ve been to Siesta Key a lot but have never eaten at this restaurant. This morning we thought we’d give it a try! Hostess was super nice, wait staff was great, service was great, the food was awesome. Our food was hot, well portioned, and the whole experience was great.
Crescent Beach is the perfect place to be! Slightly less crowded than Siesta Key beach, we watched the sun set here every night of our visit. The white sand, blue waves, and stunning sunset colors were beautiful! Easy beach access from the street and
The food was good. It was a really nice day to be outside so it was a perfect weather. Both of us tried the crepes. And itâs not disappointing. I probably will come back to try their breakfast and bakery - Croissants!
Tip: Bathrooms are upstairs. Get there early, parking can be tough.
