Village Bean Cafe - Cafe in Chepachet - 15 Money Hill Rd, USA

First time there today, and I will most definitely be back. Our waitress was super friendly, and the food & coffee were fantastic! A+ Update: I visited twice after this first visit and had two terrible experiences. We had a different waitress than the first experience. She was ignorant and rude in many ways both times. Disappointed and won't go back.

A small place, but a good one. I have eaten here many times over the years, and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The waitstaff is friendly, the entrees reasonably priced, and the food is good. I would recommend The Village Bean to anyone in Chepatchet/Pascoag looking for a good little breakfast nook. Good specialty coffees, too!

Typical American breakfast place. Authentic. Great home fries. The twist here is the espresso. They do gluten free too!

The village Bean is a small but comfortable local breakfast spot in Chepachet Rhode Island. Our server Emily greeted us with an infectious smile! I tried one of the "special" the breakfast quesadilla but I recommend ordering the breakfast burrito instead as its price is considerably lower and it's essentially the same thing ( just a different shape). My wife ordered the stuffed French toast which came with a unique orange-flavored creamy sweet sauce, she said it tasted like a wonderful creamsicle!

Enjoyed a delicious blueberry cheesecake muffin on my last visit. Everyone at the table loved their meal. It's not cheap but it's very good. Muffin and two eggs make a cheap breakfast option though.

I was truly amazed they had gluten-free blueberry pancakes 🥞 and a latte with almond milk on their menu. My barista did an awesome job making my latte ❤️ The pancakes were delicious! Light and fluffy in the middle while the outside around the edges was nice and toasty!

Very rude unwelcoming staff. Walked in for lunch and immediately accosted by a person behind the counter about my son's service dog, demanding to know if he had a vest on which of course the dog does but I literally had to lift the dog up and show it to her before she would even consider what table we should sit at. In this economy you cannot afford to greet anyone who walks through your door with anything less than "hello welcome we're so glad you're here willing to give us your hard-earned money." Good luck, Village Mean: you won't have to worry about seeing me or my son or his service animal -- or anyone in my family -- ever again
