Villa south Motor Inn - Featured Reviews (138)
Complete waste of time. Tried 3 rooms and got a refund so I could rent down the road. First room had dirty floors, dirty fridge, unmade beds, and a broken tub drain. Second room had per and pubic hair on pillow, broken toilet, and dirty floor. Third room had broken door that would not let me in. It was a waste of an hour for me and I did not stay. This was by far the worst room I have ever seen while traveling. I actually stayed here years ago and it was not this bad, new owners just seem to not care.
So many reasons. There was a table, but no chairs - Unless you want to use the one stained chair meant for a sitting area. The dresser drawers had multiple dead roaches in them. The tub was stained with what looked like dried blood, and when reported to front desk, a "handyman" came to my room, used one of my hand towels, and NO cleaner of any sort. As he did this, he stepped on a huge live roach that popped as he killed it. Ugh! And he asked me if I had a cigarette!? The tray for the cups, and ice was covered in some sort of black dust. The owner refused a refund, so I lost the rental fee because I left. Went across town and spent eight days at the competitor's establishment.
This place doesn’t even deserve one star. It’s absolutely disgusting there. I even changed rooms 3 times each times it got worse. Stains EVERYWHERE. MOLD EVERYWHERE. SPIDERS EVERYWHERE INSIDE THE ROOM. The heaters don’t work. Nobody knows how to clean. The toilet bowl was broken, as well as the shower knobs. I was there for 15 mins and saw a million roaches. The pool is not in use and covered in dirt and grass. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE!!!!
House keeping is non-existent they make the bed, change towels, and take out trash. But there is no cleaning done, there for a week and floors never swept or vacuumed dust everywhere.
Friendly, helpful staff. Very Accommodating. The rooms were clean, the hot water gets very hot, and the air conditioner gets ice cold. Great weekly rate. Very private. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could, and I'm a very critical person.
Years ago I lived in sandersville...at that time the villa south was a nice place to stay. Along with a restaurant I believe it was one of the brightest locations in the city. These days it,unfortunately, is showing it's age. Sad in some ways but the one bright spot I can admit is the staff. K and Megan have made my stays there very hospitable. I have a certain room I like to stay in and fortunately it is usually available. I Will not mention what room just in case others may request it 🙄...nevertheless...thumbs up to the staff...and by the way....ample truck parking!
By far the most disgusting hotel I have attempted to stay at. I'll start with why we came here. We're from Florida and my family decided that we needed to leave the stay to be safe from Hurricane Irma. I called this place and explained that we have 9 people with us and 6 dogs a cat and a rabbit. I told them we would like a room big enough for us all. The employee told me they had a room that was big enough she said it was a split room with three king beds, with the cost of $168 for 2 nights. I told them OK we'll be there in roughly 4 hours. Once we arrived the outside of the hotel looked decent so we figured our room would be nice. We pay and get our room key. Once we go inside we see that the room was only a single room not split like the employees said and the beds were only fulls. I told my family it is what it is we'll manage it's not like its a vacation or anything. My Mother in law goes to use the bath and finds dead cockroaches on the floor, mold on the walls and in the shower, toilet seat broke, pubic hair all over the seat and the sink water was brown. Mind you I called four hours earlier so there was plenty of time to clean. Needless to say we stated looking for other places to go. We found a better place to go to so I went to go ask for a refund. At first talking to the owner now and not employee (must've been on break) I told her I wanted a refund due to being lied to about the room size. She argued with me and pointed at a piece of paper stating no refunds, I then told her I was sold the room under false pretenses and how the room was. She told me I didn't tell you those things, I said your employee did and she represents you so yes you did. After a back and forth argument for several minutes she went in back and started arguing with her husband in Indian her husband comes out and says OK I give you refund. He then ask for the key I told him I left it in the room I'll bring it to you on our way out. 2 minutes after walking in the door telling everyone that we're leaving he knocks on the door and says I gave you refund now leave. These people tried to take advantage of us because they thought as we did that we had no place to go. Please do not stay here.
Owner usually there. Staff very friendly & helpful. Nothing fancy but fairly clean, microwave, small fridge, large flat screen tv's in all rooms. Hair dryer only in some rooms, probably due to customer theft. I stay there every couple of years & never any issues. Dogs allowed. Decent place.
The staff is nice and professional. The food is delicious. Price is way lower you might expect. The portion is Huge! On the photo is an order for two, total check was $33 (!)
What can you say, itâs a local landmark. Gets real busy around lunch, but the staff do their best to get food out in a timely manner. To me itâs worth waiting for. Oh, if you like peanut butter, the peanut butter milkshake is worth the drive.
We moved to Sandersville a couple of months ago and discovered little family owned place. We were pleasantly surprised on the quality and flavor of their food. We always order take-out so I can't speak to the buffet but I can say that everything that
