Villa Sorrento - Italian restaurant in St James - 823 Middle Country Rd, USA

My bf and I went with his parents here for thanksgiving. The food is fantastic and the people are nice and make you feel welcome. You have to try the risotto rice balls. Delicious!

We have hosted 4 parties there at this point and went to dinner there last night. All 4 parties were perfect. From the set up, to the staff to the amazing food. They never disappoint! The food is exceptional, the service is quick and the staff treats you like family. Not to mention that the owner Sal is a true earth angel.

You absolutely 💯 must go here!!! The food was phenomenal. The owner & all the staff were extremely pleasant. I highly recommend the Pappardelle pasta & short ribs and definitely try a Coconut Martini. Every time we are back in New York, we will be eating here.

Made reservations at 6p on a Saturday night. I would highly suggest making reservations as when we arrived there were a few people in front of us all of whom had reservations. Very organized, social distancing was in place, tables had plexiglass between them. Food was excellent. Waitress was great and the buser filling water was prompt and friendly. Seemed to have good take out and gentleman behind bar helping customers carry their food to car. We will be back-loved everything and owner stopped by table to say hi! Very nice establishment

Love this place but when does an establishment ever say that a gift certificate doesn't cover tax when the amount of the gift certificate is larger than the bill itself?? We still tipped the wait staff, of course, who was wonderful. Ultimately, we were so put off by the owner not allowing the gift certificate to cover the tax and requesting additional cash, while not reimbursing the remaining balance of the gift certificate. We won't be going back for this reason.

Attended a baby shower. Food selections were ample for a price fixed menu. Delicious,fresh mussels appetizer and chicken entree. Wait staff provided great service and very accommodating. Will go back again!

I had a small group of people celebrating my daughters First Holy Communion. I had day of changes to guest count that was prepaid, they were outstanding and accommodating. The food was delicious and the staff was spot on. I highly recommend this restaurant for food, service and hospitality.

Our second time catering from Villa Sorrento and we are impressed once again! The Skirt Steak and portobello sliders are a must try. Our guests LOVED the food! It’s not like your average Italian spot, this place is a step above. The food comes pre-cut into perfect sized (smaller) portions. No food wasted and everyone gets to try each dish. Sal is such a pleasure to work with, he's kind and always responds quickly. He makes hosting a party feel less stressful! Highly recommend :)
