This is very much a boutique place. The location to SFO is one of the best qualities. Also close to Bart and Cal trains as well. The rooms are old but have charm. I personally liked it. Breakfast is your basic breakfast. The service was also top notch. Would definitely stay again.
I was very happy with this stay, the rooms remind me of a European boutique hotel. Underground parking very nice. Adequate breakfast, but there is also a coffee bar attached for more. Very clean and in a more residential area. Close to SFO so you get some airplane noise, but you are close to the airport so what should you expect.
Very disappointed. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. They have a lot of decor to make it look classy but they do not focus on the details most hotels do. The sheets and towels have holes in them. I’ve never been to a hotel with holes in the sheets and towels and I travel monthly. The metal decor in the restroom is rusting. The shower curtain has stains on it. The curtains are torn. The pillow cases are dirty. They are stingy with their towels only giving you the bare minimum. We asked for more and the desk agent reluctantly gave us 1 more set. We also asked them to change the sheets and shower curtain. They said they would but did not do it. Do not stay here. You get what you pay for. It may seem highly rated for a decent price and look classy but it’s basically lipstick on a pig. It would be better to pay the higher rate of most highly rated hotels in the San Francisco Oakland area than to be tricked into thinking you are getting a great deal with this.
SERVICE & TRANSITIONS -- Perfect customer service. John was a delight; super helpful & a master of the hospitality craft. He must moonlights as a concierge. Transition were lovely. Common spaces aren't overtly grandiose, but they still have an upscaled charm. There was also lively music playing in the halls throughout my stay. Lounge spaces were clean & inviting. Elevators are slower so I'd lean towards taking the stairs here. ROOM (walkthrough) -- https://youtu.be/RW31Mh-myJc Turnover for the room was 10/10 -- airy, clean, & *quaint*. Really beautiful design, stock, & personal touches in room. It has a definitive old-world glamour but doesn't feel stiff at all. Dimensions were great, along with lighting & storage. BED -- Quality of sleep was decent. Mattresses were borderline "ok"; there wasn't enough support. It's time to rotate/replace these... Linens & bedding were clean. Soft throw blankets were very lush & unique. Decent pillows. BATH -- Good shower experience. The water pressure was sufficient & the towels were on the larger side. Installations were alluring too, especially the sink. A cozy bath robe is also provided! The heavy door is my only complaint (needs a prop to stay open). WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- Utterly painful 😖 . I did not expect the wireless infrastructure to be so bad here. HUGE buzz kill for remote work. --Performance-- Video streaming - poor Online gaming - poor Video chatting - poor --Nerd Stats-- 9-13 Mbps download 6-16 Mbps upload 0% packet loss 10 ms latency 41 ms jitter FOOD & DRINK -- DoorDash friendly. There's a very light complementary breakfast at the usual hours. It isn't friendly for those (myself) with food allergies. ✅ microwave ✅ mini-fridge ✅ in-room coffee ✅ vending machines ✅ ice ✅ tea NOISE -- On a major road so it's hit or miss with noise levels. There are also planes to consider given proximity to SFO. LOCATION -- Right on the infamous El Camino. From here you can go anywhere! Public transit is in the vicinity along with a hodgepodge of walkable shops. Other than that, it's your typical airport-hotel-cluster geography. VERDICT It has a lot going for it & is very competitive for the price. If you're looking to "ball on a budget (airport hotel)" this would be the one. I don't see myself returning but would definitely recommend it. 4/5 ⭐️
This is a really lovely place. Definitely still open. It felt like a European boutique and had fluffy robes and a simple breakfast. The management is really kind and goes out of their way. They even had fresh flowers on the breakfast tables.
Très bien pour passer une nuit, hotel typique latin, bien situé autour de l'aéroport. Calme et sécurisé. Tout était correct saut le nombre de places assises pour le petit déjeuner.
Positive: It was way nicer than expected. Christian, the front desk clerk, was very friendly and courteous. Offered great food suggestions. The spa and sauna were nice things to have. The free Breakfast was an added bonus. Negative: The ac/heater was a little hard to figure out and the fridge cabinet door didn't close due to siE of fridge. Negative: ""
Recently I stayed in this hotel, I liked it, nice and quiet, and convenient for me. The manager John is very helpful. I accidently left my jacket in the room when check-out. I noticed 8 hours later and 500miles away, I called the hotel, they found it and kept for me till my relative pick-up. Thank you!
I loved this spot. Wasnât super familiar with the area and couldnât tell from Google Street View etc if it was a seedy area or not. I would say itâs right on the edge but that didnât affect my stay whatsoever. The hotel is a tad dated but ha
Iâd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. I realized 4 star hotels with not even a microwave is such a rip off. Everything at this place is so perfect. Clean room, comfortable beds, nice staff, everything is just absolutely great. Breakfast
Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered th
First time for my wife and I finding this Restaurant and I must say it is very good luck for us! We will return when we can often. Their Mediterranean cuisine is well presented and extremely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed their Beef/Lamb Kabob (Koft
Our final meal in California and my cousin sister suggested Taqueria Mi Durango. So glad we tried this place. Each regular taco costs about $4 to 5. The Al Pastor and Fried Fish tacos are phenomenal and must order. Super highly recommended.
