Villa Del Mar Restaurant Palmview - Seafood restaurant in Palmview - 1350 W Palma Vista Dr, USA

Small place, very informal. Service was friendly but a tad slow. Upon arrival we were served a cup of seafood broth, a plate of beans and a basket of homemade tortilla chips and salsas. Delicious Avocado filled with Shrimp Salad! Pulpo a la Diabla was delicious too, served with rice, salad, fries, and toast.

I was really looking forward to eating good fish. I've eaten a several of these places, for the most part it's always good. (A few times at this location.)This time it I was let down, I definitely wouldn't eat at this location. Mid way thru eating a piece of fish I found a piece of brillo pad in it. I let the manger know, this is the part that gets me, Acted very nonchalant, stated something along the lines that it's happened several times. Only thing he offered was to remake the whole order of 15 fish. Nah, my appetite was gone. Ate maybe another piece of fish I inspected. After that seemed like the waiter avoided us for the most part. Just took it home, maybe my chickens will enjoy it. (All other fish looked good, I get accidents happen, but the way that managers reacted to it threw me off.) Spend your money elsewhere.

I ordered a burger at a cost of $11.99 and it was the size of a half dollar and the same thickness. It was totally overdone and tasteless. McDonald's serves a better burger. They need to take lessons from Ranch House Burgers on how a burger should be made and presented. Probably will never go back there again.

I would of put a 5 stars but ordered a 15 piece platter and the amount of the sides of beans and rice could barely feed a small child . Other than that the food was good.

I ordered my food online and prepaid, but when I got there, it took 4 people to figure out what was going on & Even though I placed my order an hour in advance, I still waited for 10 minutes for them to find my order. I was so annoyed by the situation that I didn't even realize that they didn't include the Dr. Pepper I ordered.

Best place in the valley for red snapper(zarandeado),their bacon wrapped shrimp are good also......for some reason prep and seasoning are better than the one in mission🤷‍♂️...Decent prices delicious food!

Had stopped eating at this restaurant but today I decided to try it again at the new location. Food was incredible , restaurant very clean. And the waitress Rosa was super fast and nice. Will be back!

Food was very good but needed a little bit more seasoning. But do understand that a lot of people they may not like excuse me or allergic to some seasoning.
