Trying to book a room but phone line immediate hangs up, email address bounces back, and the booking link via trivago is incorrect and sends to a hotel in Peru... Can anyone know if this facility is closed/closing?
The "suite" is actually a very spacious one bedroom apartment! The kitchen has everything you need for basic meal prep. The living room accommodated our two bikes that we brought from home, a large ice chest and storage bin that we travel with and STILL had plenty of room, seating and surfaces to put our stuff on. The bedroom was super quiet with great bedside reading lights and again, MORE storage space (TWO closets!). The heater worked great. Overall, the whole property is super clean and the manager Joaquin is really helpful. We loved the location. We hope to return!
Just one wish: restore the burnt out neon on the sign, it's such a lovely atmospheric work of art!
This is a small, old hotel that has been well-loved. It has a great location (close to restaurants and the beach), it was clean, and it was by far the least expensive hotel in the area. That said, there were a few issues. For example, our AC did not work even though the fan ran constantly. The TV system requires two wands per TV but the office guy showed us how to do it. The Queen suite is supposed to sleep 4, and perhaps it is possible with 2 adults and 2 kids, but 4 adults would be tripping all over each other. We had a kitchen but the utensils etc. are pretty basic. The office is only open certain times of the day so if you need something during the interim, you need to wait. They still apply COVID rules of no housekeeping. And, note, parking is very limited. They charge $15/night. ||||It was perfectly fine for our stay, but if you are searching for luxury or modernity, or the amenities that go with a more modern hotel, you might be disappointed. This would be great for families. If you want value and do not mind stepping back in time for your stay, this is the place
Very dated hotel. King size bed took up pretty much the whole room! But it was comfortable. Bathroom was a little dirty and the room could use a fresh coat of paint. Cute courtyard with fire pit and free bikes. Directly across from the Hotel Del and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants . If you want a no frills and affordable place to stay and enjoy the island..this is it.
Stayed in the Suite with a Kitchen. The theme of the 1950's is throughout the property but in a good way. Beds are comfy, place is clean, very convenient location right across the street from the Del. Manager is more than willing to please, offered to help carry our bags up the stairs (no elevator), provided items needed that were not in the suite. They provide free bicycles and there is a lovely bike path nearby that goes all the way to the Landing on the bay. We stayed for several days. Had an absolutely beautiful time. Office hours are limited.
Motel? I was pleasantly surprised …was perfect for our family of three! My son loved the kitchenette and we literally were in heaven when the Coronado’s light show started right outside our window! Perfect location for beach and downtown Coronado at a great price. We had the queen suite and was so clean! I knew what to except but my expectations were surpassed. Roomy start to our vacay was just what we needed! Thank you
We have spent the most amazing few days here! We stayed a week next door at a fancier resort and my entire family 100% all loved this place tenfold. Yes it was built in the 1950s but HELLO has anyone writing reviews on here ever stayed in the Del built In the 1800s? The rooms here are spacious, private, and clean. The beds, couches, bathrooms, TVs are all new The place was spotless. Free bikes and an innkeeper on site that was so accommodating thank you Joaquin! We will be back
A nice place to stay. Rooms feel dated but they've leaned into it with some vintage decor. Nice to have a kitchen even if it is small. Front desk staff is top notch. We used the free bikes and they even had helmets for the kids. Would certainly stay there again.
So excited for URT to finally have a brick & mortar spot in townâ¦right where they belong, back where it all began!! I gotta say, we have been stopping by once a week since they opened. The store looks fantastic, and stoked to see they are fully sto
This place is ideal for those people who are curious about what they are drinking, you have a variety of flights to choose from... whiskey, cognac, wines, tequila, vodka, etc. the care is excellent. I tried the hummus that comes with mini carrots a
This park is a must when visiting San Diego! I make sure to take everyone here at night when they visit here! Super pretty at night and some of the best views of the downtown skyline Iâve seen:)
Big, beautiful beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops. Was here just before Christmas so a lot of lights and decorations were up and there was an outdoor skating rink at the Hotel Coronado. What an amazing place that is. Hope to come back again soon.
I brought my kids to this library for their kids library section. The section is very clean, well equipped, arranged, and they provide plenty of choice of books. We love this library.
