This is a lovely hotel to stay in. It is very comfortable, clean and spacious. I especially loved the fireplace in the room. They provide a great complimentary breakfast & afternoon tea. I would also like to give a shout out to the receptionist Alyssa & Christina who very accommodating, helpful & friendly. The location is great it is walking distance from Cannery Row & the aquarium. I will definitely be back.
The Victorian Inn was great! We got two rooms for one night and loved our stay. Loved the friendly and helpful staff, wine and cheese hour, free breakfast, great location, near the aquarium, Cannery Row, restaurants, trails, bay, etc. excellent room with fireplace in balcony and double sinks in the bathroom. Great value for this expensive city. We will be back.
Stayed there for three nights and it was certainly a most pleasant stay. Our room was clean and the balcony offered a lovely view of the bay. Breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of morning beverages, and the complimentary afternoon wine and cheese was great! Indoor parking garage was a plus as well. Staff was always polite and helpful. Cannery Row is within walkable distance. This is my go-to hotel in Monterey.
Lots to like about this hotel. Great location for restaurants, shops and the aquarium. Also good access to coastal walk to Pacific Grove. Staff were friendly and accommodating and rooms were spacious with very comfy beds. It was quite chilly while we were there so the fire in the room was lovely and just what we all needed to warm ourselves up. We all enjoyed the cheese and wine (we had cups of tea instead) at 5pm each day and the breakfast was a good selection of fruit, waffles, bagels, omelette and sausages. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We spent one night here and the accommodation was fine. We requested rooms together and they were next door which was perfect. One room had a very stale smell. Toiletries were fine and the shower was powerful. We parked okay though were told we needed to move by 5pm on the day we left which was a bit frustrating. ||Breakfast offered lots of choice but the tables were so close together that navigating the room was a bit tricky.
My husband and I initially experienced some surprise to discover we'd been lodged in a newer, more hotel-like building rather than the old inn we expected, but we ended up loving our huge, quiet, more private room with its pretty, antique furniture and paintings. The high ceilings made it feel airy and old-fashioned and the place was extremely quiet. Terrific staff and the breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip! We were happy the Inn was a convenient walking distance to Cannery Row and the waterfront, and we LOVED the aquarium.
This hotel was within walking distance to Monterey to a certain extent in that it takes about ten to fifteen minutes to reach the pier. However for the aquarium we did drive and park in Cannery Row.||The reception staff member was lovely and helpful although the area needs moving as it is too cramped when too many people arrive at once. There is convenient parking next to the hotel with a lift from the car park.||The breakfast is quite limited although was adequate for our needs and there is a waffle machine to make your own waffles. ||The cheese and wine is a nice touch. ||The room itself was large and nicely appointed but it was the second most expensive hotel on our trip and it was hard to see why this would be, when compared to some of the others.||to
I don't usually review hotels, but I had such a terrible experience at a hotel in Marina, California that we refused to stay there even after we paid. As such we rebooked here at the Victoria Inn. What a great experience. The rooms were simple but clean, and comfortable and met our needs as a family. The location was excellent, close by, and just a simple walk to all the main attractions. However, the real clincher was the included breakfast. It was fantastic! They had these amazingly fresh, warm, ham and cheese croissants that were simply divine! I don't know if that is a staple for breakfast but they had them every day we were there. A really great little hotel. Well worth stopping in for a night.
Totally impressed with the service and incredible attention we received during our stay. It was our first time visiting and will definitely be back. Itâs a great hotel for family with kids or even a couple wanting a getaway. The views are amazing a
Summary: cozy and quiet room, friendly staff and nice location.

We had a great stay at Wave Street Inn! From start to finish Christine, Carol and Jon were fantastic. The location is perfect right in the middle of Cannery Row and 10 minute walk to the wharf. Our room had an incredible view of the ocean and everyth
Our family (2 adults and 1 child) stayed at the Monterey Bay Lodge for two nights in October 2023. I wish we could have stayed much longer. We were greeted by friendly staff at check in. Our room was spacious with two comfortable beds on the second f
I visit the place once a week for they have charging stations for my Ford Fusion. I've found the staff very friendly when I have dealings with them. I may spend a night here in the future so I can give the Hampton Inn Monterey proper rating even tho
I joined First City Crossfit in September 2023 and could not be happier with the overall experience. I've been to many crossfit gyms around the country and this has been, by far, the best. Frank and the coaches are outstanding! They have such a desir
