Victor Garcia Municipal Park - Park in Pharr - 205 W Polk Ave, USA

Another fantastic find! There is a bit of everything for all ages. There is a great size workout station for adults/ kids, 2 playgrounds, bbq pits, a pavilion for shade, lots of trees, basketball court, and a skateboarding/ rollerblading area that is clean and fun for all ages. The bathrooms were available to everyone, a functional SECURITY camera ( in pic). This is definitely a rare find, hidden gem. A definite he knit out spot, YEAH!!!

Overgrown unkept grass, empty beer cans all over park ,and sadly homeless people sleeping on the benches and basketball court is deteriorating. I don't recommend this park for a family day.

Had a great time and weather was very nice and breezy. No mosquitoes which was even better. Great way to celebrate Memorial Day weekend! Thank you City of Pharr! Enjoyed the park area and seen for myself that the Gus and Goldie pool is now a skateboard park area. It's beautiful!

Pharr has really nice parks. This one includes skate park, walking path, basketball, playground equipment.

Enjoyed that there is exercise station and skate park but could use more light on the front park where they play soccer it is really dark since it is by street but very nice park and maintained even the bathrooms which usually can be very gross in parks understandably. One of my favorite parks to go and practice with our son.

Dangerously slippery court. Just remove the fancy dried out material so people can ball without sliding every time you try to plant your feet. Other than that dope atmosphere.

The basketball court used to be one of the highlights of this park before covid. Nowadays the blue top has gotten really worn out. The basketball court is very slippery and dangerous for your ankles. The skate park is still great and in good condition. The walking trails are decent enough, especially for its location in the city. On a separate note, the community of people there are not bad. I think some people may think of this park negatively in comparison to rich neighborhoods. But the people who go here are generally very nice.
