Fast service! Cuban style. Food very good! We tried the breakfast special, cuban sandwich, papa rellena(stuffed potato), croquetas de jamon( ham croquett). Everything good!
Love the guava pastries. Literally the best I’ve ever had! I also love the empanadas (beef or chicken) and I am a fan of the ham croquettes
Amazing Latin bakery with the best cafe con lecheI have had in a long time! They have a case full of desserts and savory items and will also make you a breakfast/lunch sandwich. The employees are lovely and efficient and the restaurant is decorated super cute. I can't wait to stop by again!
They’re great if you are there to eat in person. Ordering from there is frustrating though. When I called to confirm my pickup they had no record of it. They got the order wrong also. Then when I finally got there my order wasn’t even ready and almost gave me someone else’s order. Customer service is good though. And their products are great. Just ordering for pickup can use a lot of improvement.
Best cake ever, light, beautiful, and well priced (I added the candle and sign in my cake)
Expensive, expensive, and if that wasn’t clear enough… EXPENSIVE! From sandwiches to pastry’s all seemed to be on the high pricing side for the quality and portion. Cafe con leche in a very tiny cup, $3-$4… This is like the Starbucks of Cuban Bakeries when talking about prices. I’ll take Don Pan on Sterling any day!
This place was a disappointment. The original location in Hialeah has always been the best, and still is. The price for pastelitos now a days was insane, and they were super flaky instead of the moist and sticky versions they originally were. The meat in the meat pastelitos was minuscule. There is definitely some shrinkflation and inflation happening here, along with a drop in quality. Home made pastelitos have NEVER been better than Vicky’s, never, until now. Even my child didn’t like the pastelitos, and they are inhaled at home. My childhood favorite bakery just didn’t make the cut in 2024. Pros: Guava and cheese is still delicious. Soft, not super crisp, and filled nicely. Papa rellena was pretty good. Not amazing, but if I came back, I would order this before other items I would have before. Cons: Meat pastelito was under filled, and over cooked. Coconut pastelito had a strange and sharp taste in the coconut filling Croquetas are SUPER pasty.
Love the place great food and coffee is the best. This is me and my wife's favorite coffee place. Their pastries are always fresh with an amazing flavor. Quesitos are just perfect not too toasty not too soft. The croasaint sandwich is awesome too. Very busy though, it may take a few minutes for you to go trhought the line of customers. Also not that many tables, there always a risk of not finding one, especially on weekends in the morning. Still great food, always happy to visit again.
We were in town for the Dolphins game and wanted to support local businesses. We found this place through Google and it did not disappoint. Friendly people who care about the customer and food quality.
