I like using the exercise stations here, I like the art installations, the tree lined path, especially during hot weather months. I love that it's alongside the river and Black Dog Salvage. It's a small park so parking is limited.
Great little park. Just needs a few picnic tables. We’re traveling with a dog and shopped for our lunch at the local Roanoke food co-op. We headed to the park to eat. The bench worked, but a table would have been even better. Nice and clean and quiet!
Walked 2.5 miles out, then back on a nicely paved path along the pristine Roanoke River. On the way 3 playgrounds, eatery, pavilions, outdoor sculpture. bathrooms(heated!!!), huge skate park, pars course, soccer and baseball fields, and a flat flood plain that would be perfect for cross country sking. I actually journeyed through a couple connected parks on the greenway. Lots of dogs, bike riders, and runners even on a weekday in December. Everyone was friendly and courteous.
Great place to walk, beautiful paved walkways. The people riding bikes need to be A LOT more considerate of others that are on foot & or with their dogs. The “walkers” almost get knocked over daily by the “bikers”.
Great bike riding. Practice mountain bike riding for all!
Lovely park, great for kids or enjoying nature
This is a great part for walking, bicycle riding, & skateboarding. There are water fountains, a repair station for bicycles and stands with bags to use to pick up your dogs poo. All along the trail are exercise stations with instructions. I start on the trail behind Black Dog. From there, to the left & down the hill, the trail is about five & a half miles each way. To the right & up the hill, over the bridge, then down the hill on the left & under the bridge, the trail is about 2 miles.
I rode my bike along the Roanoke river Greenway to Tinker Creek. Very nice ride. Lots of people out enjoying the facilities and the river. Nice ride.. I'll do it many times I'm sure!

Got up early for a sunrise hike only to realize the view looks west. ð Still totally worth it even though it was windy and cold. Great for hiking, running, climb and chill, or explore the various loops
Beautiful spot. The azaleas were at their peak. A trail map would be nice as there seem to be several choices with some of them dead-ending. There were some large trees down across the path... one that had to be crawled over and another required a
One of the nicest parks in Roanoke, in my opinion. Itâs not very big but itâs a pretty decent size! I sometimes pick up my friendâs children from Woodrow Wilson Middle. Iâll take the children here until their parents get home. The basketball
My kid loves this park. It usually has a decent amount of other kids there as well. The canal is a fun touch with little docks and a little trail in the woods so it's fun for parents too lol. Cameras is a nice safety touch they added.
Great place for the pup to get out and explore. Quiet. Been there 3 times and each time not crowded at all. But they have been in off hours.... but is a beautiful place, benches, kids playground, basketball court, volleyball net and a lot of room to
Lovely nice people, a fine selection of stuff to choose from. A nice little hang-out spot. The park is lovely and not far from the library where you can play sports.
Looking for top-notch martial arts training? Look no further than Lindamood's in Roanoke. Both my sons trained, for many years, with Bobby and Michelle, through Snyder's. You simply cannot find a more professional group of martial artists... They NEV
Spectacular. Everything was top class, from the food and accommodation to the golf. The people go above and beyond to make sure your time there is something you won't forget.
Viet Sub is a gem of gems. The freshest of food, speediest of service, and authentic kindness of the family-run restaurant is not only delicious, but heart-warming. I bring all of my out of town guests here and all I get are rave reviews. Be mindful
My first time at our neighborhood theater. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Saw â Lost in Yonkers â. It was very good!! I will definitely start going to more . Looking forward to next years line up
What a beautiful church with a magnificent atmosphere. We attended the Christmas Eve mass and it was so lovely. The music and sound inside transports you to a heavenly realm. This was our first time visiting and we were so glad we did.
Incredibly pleased with this place! Ordered an avocado toast w/ Turkey and was pleasantly surprised that they added pickled onions (yum!), basalmic, paprika and shaved egg yolk. I also got their cold brew in my to go tumbler, added oat milk that they
This place is a diamond in the rough. I had no idea the food was so good. The reviews do not lie. The food is so flavorful, it will make your mouth water. The portion sizing are large enough for lunch, dinner and maybe breakfast. Lol! The service wa
If you are looking for a super fun cocktail bar, you have found it. The drinks are stellar! The service is prompt, friendly, and personable. Their Christmas pop up was awesome, but they are awesome year round, so no surprise there. Do not walk, run t
Great gym! Took my partner climbing for the first time. Had lots of VB and V1 routes. The fella who gave us our tour was very detailed and friendly! Will definitely return when back in Roanoke!
