Vibes - Soul food restaurant in Queens - 143-06 Liberty Ave, USA

Brunch was great. We had Unlimited Mimosa's. Catfish and Grits was good, mango salmon was good and steamed lobster was good. Dj played great music and our waitress Jazzy was great.

We came on the lunchtime around 1pm on a Wednesday on the shady and sketchy side of the restaurant because its the only part of it that is open at this time. The place is bad and the food tastes like cheap buffet. No air conditioner and outside feel cooler than inside. 2 plates to go 50$ for the portion served is absolutely expensive. I felt I was in a third-world country. Ready for some heart attack or stroke? The food is TOOOOO SALTY like sea water

Literally the worst catfish I’ve every had in my life. It was drenched in oil and had not been drained. The fish had no seasoning no salt no anything. I’m so surprised because I thought the food would be good but unfortunately not. I will not be returning.

The food was delicious. The pricing wasn’t bad. The service could have been better. The workers were young but attentive to detail.

I would just like to say my opinion my husband ordered a turkey wing dinner ,turkey dry and chewy, my order was the honey jerk wings which were rubbery, the Mac & cheese looks & taste dry the rasta pasta very dry &, spicy the only side that was good was the yams and they do not have a large selection for it to be expensive the way it is sorry I do not recommend this place to no one its over priced,over rated they get 2 stars from me & my hubby they're not that great

This was my first time at this restaurant, the second upon arrival I was generously greeted. Staff were very professional, Tatie was lively, engaging & courteous she was just awesome. Now on to the fabulous food, smh food was so so l good to be honest I underestimated this spot. Everything was prepared to perfection, well seasoned, well portioned and delicious. Oh I can’t forget about the music. The music added to the Vibes. DjPreme played all the hits. And whaaat brunch until 6pm. My new favorite spot. Thank you sooo much I enjoyed everything.

This place sucks. Ordered the wings with garlic mashed potatoes and mac and cheese and I got a tasteless bowl. These people do not know anything about spices and they try to pull the wool over your eyes. Mac and cheese looked like they boiled noodles and through chunks of cheese on it and I'm sure that's what they did, The potatoes were plain mashed potatoes and not a hint of garlic, and the chicken had a little taste to it but not much. Thumbs down and 0 stars. Obviously, the customers don't no a thing about how food tastes.

I went in on Tuesday night ordered two rasta pastas with grilled chicken, one mild one spicy. Got home starving only for both plates to be waayyy too salty! Literally the saltiest food I've had in my life!! I know it's not me because my friend said the same! Drove back to let them know the food was too salty, got it remade and still too salty! At this point it's going in the garbage, money wasted.
