Veterans Recreation Center - Recreation center in Lehigh Acres - 55 Homestead Rd S, USA

I recently took my kids to the Veterans Recreation Center Park in Lehigh Acres, Florida and we had an amazing afternoon there. The park had everything my children needed to have a great time. There were plenty of playgrounds and swings for them to play on, as well as basketball and tennis courts for them to get active. They also loved the splash pad, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The park also had walking trails and picnic areas, making it a great spot for a family outing. The facilities were well-maintained and clean, with plenty of shade and seating options available. The park staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Overall, I highly recommend the Veterans Recreation Center Park in Lehigh Acres for families looking for a fun and safe place to spend an afternoon. It's a great spot for children to play and get some exercise, and the variety of amenities ensures that there's something for everyone. We had a blast and will definitely be back

Awesome park👌 huge. Alot of activities. Basketball ball court indoor and outdoor. Weight room. Ping pong table. Pool tables. Computer room.

Such a fun place! We need more places like this in Florida. The equipment is nice and the park is full of fun things. The covered basketball court is pretty popular.

Best place in Lehigh to walk and have a pick nick or kids party. The rec center has lots to offer for adults and kids.

I recently went for a community yardsale and I scored all kinds of excellent deals but to be aware of events like this you need to be on Facebook. They have restrooms near the tennis courts and I think others as well. I have voted here before and many community events are held here. My son enjoys the skate park there quite often.

Veterans park is beautiful and my kids enjoy taking the classes at the Rec center. The rating of one star isn't for the facility but for a very NASTY attitude employee. My family and I were excited to get back into the hustle and bustle of getting back to school and starting back up some art/dance classes after a long hot summer. Our experience was quickly soured by an employee I haven't seen before at the front deck. She was rude, unwelcoming, and condescending. The customer service was terrible and she made it very obvious she did not want to be there. She treated multiple people like this and came off very bothered. Nancy is her name.

Brought my family in for open gym night last night they only allow teenagers to play basketball they won’t even allow my younger kids to sit down while their older brother plays how does this work for families that have more than one kid not very impressed this is not set up for families only families that like to leave their kids by their self. They definitely need to add more family open gym nights seems like this rec center caters to older kids they do not have a lot for the younger kids to do as a family
