I really like veterans park. The playgrounds are large and various sizes for various ages, fishing pond, skate park and workout trail! Everything is spaced out, which is also nice. A few drawbacks: while the skate park is awesome and huge, it gets really crowded. Sometimes it's hard to do much. Also, this park would be absolutely amazing with a splash pad. In the summer sometimes it's just too hot to go without a way to cool off (but it would probably always be packed then). Lastly, the last time I used the bathrooms, they didn't have doors on the stalls. Hoping that's been fixed because it's a little weird.
Visiting my buddy here and bought an out of state license. We're fishing and the game warden came over and gave each of us a $100 fine for using 1 stringer for our 3 fish. WHAT. This WOMAN, couldn't even give us a break because we didn't know that rule. Will never go there again. She was a unt with a capital C
As a dad and a fisherman, I love this park. I can take my kids fishing here(pond is stocked with rainbow trout) or just let them burn off energy at the two big swingsets.
Love this park. Very clean and open. Love how the smaller children's playground is away from the bigger kids so they aren't getting pushed or ran over. The playgrounds are very well setup and wonderful. Love how much there is to do. Fish, walk, playground, splash pad, and skate park.
Big enough to swat a bucket of balls. Baseballs. Probably not golf balls. Fishing. Pretty cool playground. Covered areas for family picnics (love family get together there)

I was shocked, a very nice location, multiple parks, a big splash pad and even fishing. I couldn't believe but it even had rainbow trout'...it's right off the turnpike, which makes it very accessible. So i definitely give it 10 stars..
